Classes that improve your pvp

A wise man once told me that if something gave you an advantage/disadvantage in one or multiple multiplayer servers, then it automatically counted as PvP.

 

Considering when I started playing ctf back in 2012 or 2013 I chose to play medic to learn how to pvp while still helping my team...... I'll choose medic xD

Well im from Germany for example, and yeah im not a super pro in pvpv but im an average player at pvp. The most problem for people is really when a f.e. American fights an Eurpean. From the style and combos and so on you can clearly say who is from where. I myself experience a lot of people getting a ninja combo from me and they cant even hit me once even as heavy. And sometimes i get destroyed within 3 hits.

 

Let's just say that byz and other players with good connection are helped by their ping, and they are therefore at a slight advantage over other players. With all due respect though, I see players get hated on (And i have myself hated on these certain players in the past), and my view is that they're not going to intently make their connection worse, are they? That is their ping, and they can't change it to satisfy others. They could be/are just as good as other players however they have the edge when it comes to pvp.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if brawl moved to Europe, though.

 

I'm talking about keeping your crosshair on the enemy in quick succession, what's the point of jitter clicking with 10 ms if you can't aim your crosshair at your strafing enemy for periods of time?

 

I get 115ms and can skill get beat by people with EU ping.

Personally depends on the PVP.
Elf is good if you actually want to succeed in pvp battles with bows, archer is that but I don't feel like I've accomplished anything by shooting someone X blocks away and they die instantly.

Chemist, Heavy, or medic are probably the best for sword pvp, I cannot decide which is better tho.

Before I started playing on any Minecraft servers, I used to play lots of single player survival games where you'd have to fight mobs, and sometimes they would gang up on you in groups of 4 or 5. There was the option of escaping from this situation, but instead, I decided to fight them. There were many defeats at first because I did not know about the great power of strafing. After several weeks of being raped by this cluster f%ck of zombies, I finally get my revenge.

But yeah just practice on brainless mobs...

Also the whole ping problem you people constantly complain about it does play a significant role in PvP, but it isn't the only factor you have things like CPS, strafing, and straight lining (which I abuse due to the low ping).

I use medic to practice pvp. Since it has regen, it rewards combos and conservative steaking in a way that other classes don't rn. It also has a weak sword that draws out fights allowing you to get the most out of every encounter. On the flip side ninja comes in second as it punishes you for not getting combos. Positive reinforcement > Negative reinforcement, but I can see how it works for some people. When I play a lot of ninja I value the kills I am able to get much more than when I play something strong like heavy.

You can also get really good with the eggs, but I don't know if that counts as "pvp" since the skill doesn't carry over to vanilla. The function of the eggs are the same as fishing rods but the velocities are completely different. You can also switch instantly from the egg to the sword whereas you have to wait for the rod to connect before switching to sword or the bob you're trying to hit with will disappear midflight.

Strangely enough I also had a similar problem with Chemist. Although I used to be a pretty good chemist the skill never carried over to pot pvp even though they actually use the same mechanics.
