4th Annual CTF All-Star Match 2k16

Sup CTF’ers!


CTF Teams have been around for several years, since it was founded in 2012. Since then, it’s kinda been an annual tradition and I’m sure most people reading this recall previous years’ events. This event has always had a special place in my heart, since CTF Teams have always been the focus of my moderating career and this is pretty much a match with a majority of teams, with some of the most feared and admired players in our community. It’s been a little over a year since our last all star match (we had one after we merged with Brawl), so I think now is about as good a time as ever to get this year’s match started.

The 2016 All-Star match will be taking place Saturday, August 6th, at 2PM EST. (That’s 11AM PST, 7PM GMT).

We will be accommodating 14 teams total this year, each team putting in 4 players makes this a massive 28v28 slaughterfest. Teams will be randomly placed on either blue or red team after the signup period is over. To sign up, your representative must get in contact with me via Skype/Discord/Forum PM, and I will put you on the list. As usual we’re going on a first come first served basis so make sure your reps are on top of their game, as these slots usually fill up ridiculously fast.


Rules are as follows:

• First team to 3 wins will be victorious.
• Dwarf will not be allowed.
• Gonna spice things up a bit here: 1 Engineer and 1 Necro will be allowed this year.
• Maximum of: 2 Medics
• Maximum of: 3 Archers/Pyros/Chemists/Assassins
• Maximum of: 5 of every other class
• Ninja capping will be allowed, but no premature pearling.
• All mandatory rules (with the exception of the no engi/necro rule)

P.S. This will be my final All-Star event. I’m really looking forward to this and I hope despite all the tension and conflict going on as of late, we can put all that aside to celebrate CTF Teams being around for over 4 years.

Just to be a bit more specific, the deadline for signing up your team is next wednesday, August 3rd. Each team must submit their rosters by next Friday, August 5th. As a reminder, each team will contribute 4 players to the match (also have subs preferably), forgot to mention that since I assumed everyone could do the math but ya never know.
