    I'm gonna make a post regarding how to make a successful CTF map, so I need some help coming up with some crucial advice to help get a map in rotation. I'll be checking the old map making thread as well and make the post when I'm home

    Maybe you could provide screen shots of current maps? That would be helpful in the building process.

    Make sure your map has good detail to it, and has plenty of structures. but is still fairly easy to maneuver around.

    I'll be sure to take screenshots of maps when build/CTF returns or if I can scavenge the old forums.

    Also, as an add on to @Zelkam make sure the map isn't too focused on aethstetic either. Gameplay gets maps in

    This would, in theory, be very helpful. In practice, not so much. Due to the class imbalance of CTF, maps tend to be extremely unbalanced too. ;(

    Perhaps, if you could get on team speak, we could have a discussion about this? I would love to build a balanced map, I just need opinions on the current maps, and what's wrong with them from seasoned players.

    Even though I am not a map builder by any means of the imagination but I would love to see a map in which it has balanced game play and simplicity over complex.
