Why are the prices so high?

    Honestly, I've paid over a hundred dollars for a rank on a server. Was it a smart decision? Probably not. It was my own m money, however, and I earned it myself. I think it's bull**** that parents cannot secure their online payments, to the point where this was an issue. Like I know kids are devious little bastards, but seriously, come on. The entire community shouldn't have to suffer (EULA) because 1. Kid steals parents credit card, buys 100$ rank, parents get pissed and complain. 2. People *****ing about P2W. CTF in it's earliest stages was not P2W. Classes cost 250 credits each (Going to about 500 Credits a class if I remember correctly) I earned all of my classes by getting the ingame credits. I only paid for Assassin, and mage by buying credits. So while it appears there is a P2W aspect of the game, there really wasn't, people were just lazy, and didn't have the money, but also didn't want to spend the time. Granted, this doesn't apply to every server.

    I do think the class prices should be lowered a bit, but not too much. Just gives you something to work towards :wink:

    Technically, that variety is a sort of a perk/boost. By having access to these different classes, you have an advantage over other players. If I need to protect a flag, I can go Dwarf and just crouch there depending on the map. While another player would have to play Heavy. You can make a case for Dwarf just being overpowered and that in an ideal world Dwarf would be balanced, removing the issue from this scenario. However, Dwarf is by role meant to be specialized for flag defense. While it may be less effective than Heavy in some aspects, such as attacking flag rooms, it doesn't change the fact that it's the best flag defense class (or at least one of the best). If you're defending a flag room, you can't accomplish that sitting wall of knockback and death that Dwarf provides if you have to play Heavy. In that sense, you have to pay to optimally play a certain role. And if your team has no Dwarves, well then you're SOL.

    I'm not too against CTF's P2W, but it could definitely count as a violation of Mojang's EULA

    That's not a good method of balance. There's nothing stopping a bunch of people with Engineer or Dwarf from picking those classes as a group and ruining the game for other people. While I admit that class rushes are hilarious, balancing classes by the merit of "not a lot of people will play them" is kinda silly.

    Brawl definitely needs to drop the price of some kits to 15k credits just because they aren't as effective as classes such as Ninja and Chemist. I mean it's basically saying a Necro is as OP as a Engineer or Dwarf. Dwarf should definitely be nerfed just for the reason anyone can just sit there one shot killing the most expirenced CTFers. Engineer is another problem in my opinion because someone can come along and place a teleporter meters away from the flag room with half the team teleporting and basically winning the map instantly. So they should in my opinion make classes such as Ninja, Chemist, Elf and Mage cheaper as they take pure skill and effort to master them. Also making the price for pesky classes such as Assassin, Engineer and Dwarf more harder to obtain

    Actually, Brawl is still a little P2W because ranks (VIP-ELITE) give the same advantages as before, such as more xp, credits and ammo (MC-War) and can still be bought. I'm not sure if ranked get advantages in CTF, though that is not the point.

    Premium classes aren't supposed to be stronger than free ones. While at times it is that way, that's more of a balance issue than a strategy from Brawl. The point of premium classes is that it provides players with extra options to pick from besides the regular Heavy/Soldier/Archer/Medic. While that extra variety does provide players with an advantage, the classes themselves aren't meant to be strictly "better" than others. They can be more powerful or adept at certain roles, but in CTF they aren't supposed to outclass other classes in so many ways that the other classes become unviable in comparison.

    Still the variety, but they each have their own strengths and weaknesses (disregarding those that need to be reworked)
    The only problem i think is some of the classes can mostly be countered only by premium classes.

    guys brawl they dont right the rules. blame notch he is in charge...always wanting more money dollers for him instead of us minecrafters who BUYED his game..makes me mad..

    In theory yes. But most of the player base of engis and dwarfs are relatively new players on freeday or players who payed for the classes.

    After the changes many of these new players can't play engi because they don't play often enough therfore they cannot buy the classes yet. The only players who can play engi really are regulars and a huge majority of them dosent play either of the classes.

    I like the current state of credits because their is a significantly less number of dwarves and engis and those classes don't really get a lot of love from regulars anyway. So I guess If you want to play these premium classes you need to put in the work.

    The credit system is dumb tbh
    3 months of addiction is too much to earn one kit for a block game. i could be doing better things with my life.
    Why not make the premium kits unlock in a set order, based on the amount of games played a player has.
    Or maybe thats a dumb idea and the cost should just be reduced, idc.
    At the moment, I only play on free fridays because its too easy to get bored with the same 4 free kits, and I think many other new players feel that way too.

    Classes unlocking in a certain order would oversaturate the game with certain classes. Reducing the price sounds more reasonable (also CREDIT GIFTING)
