I have set up this incredible Google Sheet to keep track of who's playing and how many entries they have. Submissions will be closed. I will then randomly distribute a set of numbers to each person based on their entry count. Then, 3 random numbers will be drawn and the deal will be done. Winners will be announced on January 1 at 12:00 GMT-5 (12:00 EST lol).

BUT if there are less than 40 participants in the giveaway by the time 2017 strikes in East US, I will mercifully extend the deadline for entries by 2 days, thus making January 3 the draw date. Why are you doing this exactly
I'm giving back to the community that gave so much to me. A lot of the things up there, if you noticed, involve nostalgia. In doing this, I get to spoil myself with great memories of great people doing great things, and some lucky person is gonna end up with some slick new peripherals to keep on Minecrafting or Overwatching or Leagueing.

I'm encouraging people to remember their personal good times. I'm not saying they're necessarily with me, rather, take this as an exercise of your nostalgia. Remember the simple days when we were all younger and in some cases more rampant or quieter than we are now? Remember the laughs we shared, the memes we made, the tears we spilled, and the memories we created? All the questions I asked of you like "tell me a good memory between us" or "tell me how we met" are questions that really bring positive thoughts or something to laugh at with people we haven't talked to in a while or let us relive great memories with those we currently are around.

In 2013 on the good old YAF forums, I made this post that CTF was our home and to some of us- like me- it was our only home. This community that I grew up with since little 14 year old Gengar_Sleep walked up into b9.mcctf.com because his brother showed him engineer on a free day on b4.mcctf.com has clearly evolved into a new place with new faces and a new game. People have come and gone and their presence fill and escape Skype chats and Discord servers and in game chats and everything else, but the only thing that lasts forever are the memories we share. The one's I've made with each one of you, as sappy as it sounds, mean so much and contributed to the perspective in which I see the world through. I hope that after this, someone can relive their old memories. Maybe someone might even remember their CTF story. Maybe someone else would want to give back to this community we got here.
