What is this

Sometimes the ctfers in the big fancy well known teams like to be cucks and target people they don't like as a group.

Some of these people have done it to me too it's quite sad.

basically the people that were after you are all in one team, and for one reason or another they wanted to kill you
this is uncommon, but not rare. during weekends and nights of your timezone it's worse ive noticed.

I can't speak for any of the accused party, so this may not have any real meaning to you.

I'm sorry all those people targeted you, regardless of whether you pissed one of them off by being mean, or simply playing the game and killed one of them, or for any reason. Personally, however, I find that their actions were technically "OK" or fine. Because CTF is only a computer game with no significant reward (except for friends), there was really no harm done.

If no one condemns Snowleak or Chilled or Forums after this, or you find that you were not recompensate (say, with a "sorry"), you are left with the options of leaving CTF, targeting them back (staying angry), or moving on.

Neither I nor you nor anyone else can control their actions, but we can control our own. I hope that you do not remain angry, and/or leave CTF. I really do. I've stuck with this server for around 5 years now, and still manage to have fun, despite the occasional targeting.

I'm not trying to say "Sh*t happens - grow up and move on kid!", and I'm not saying that the targeting was perfectly fine - I agree with you, it WAS kinda mean. It's just that sometime, you can't do anything about it. We can't control these people, but you shouldn't let what they're doing get to you. However, if you do choose any of the other options, it no way does it make you any less of a person. Especially because this is just a game. And anyhoo, you got Chilled twice (died 4 times?) and that heavy got Snowleak for you. Seemed a little even deathwise to me.

End notes: I don't understand how the kdr comment is associated with you. Rammus5 wasn't after you. Also, do you sprint hotkey? To me it doesn't look like you do. Last thing, at the end when you were eggs and ninja teamed, it might've (maybe not) been better if you right clicked and held your sword, rather than trying to hit both of them. You get a better sense where to hit and it helps you live a little longer. If you noticed in the end there was a soldier trying to help you. He probably would've gotten them both if you didn't die (got Chilled though).

 

So you telling me to kill myself because of my kdr account isn't any worse?
You logging out and abusing the fact that stats do not submit if you log out isn't worse?

 

Or I mean you could just go Heavy. Targetting a heavy as a ninja is a ****ing stupid idea, and targetting a heavy as a soldier isn't as much of a ****ing stupid idea, but still a ****ing stupid idea.

There's a difference between people group targetting to be assholes and people group targetting because the person is asking for it... I think some of the tmplrz reasons behind it were valid up to some extent. While I don't agree that group targetting is 100% okay, I don't think that drone was totally a victim in the situation.

Regardless of the situation targeting is a really horrible thing to do, you're going out of your way to ruin the game for one person

This is just something you have to get used to if you want to play archer. I'd be inclined to say this was deserved, since you combat log a lot to keep your kdr at 35. Well, not to worry, the culprits have been dealt with via spanking, good on you for being a parent @Trebr .

 

I mean if this guy is using a bug to get the kdr in the first place, it makes me wonder whether or not a stat reset is appropriate. Just as it probably wasn't a nice thing to go all out targeting the guy, it's neither fair for the people who are legit trying to earn a kdr for this guy to pass them exploiting a bug

 

While it's not equally right to target a person for a malevolent or personal reason, you also have been accused of abusing a death bug by logging off a match to prevent your death count.
Nor does that even make you any useful, or good of an archer, heck, it's not even something to be proud of. They also might be trying to bring down your kdr to a certain level.
Plus in the video most of it i saw was you doing some bowspam and running away
