    Although this would remove a lot of teamwork from the game, its rare for people to really use teamwork in regular games anyways. I'm neutral on this, but a few years ago an old CTF mod, Saixos, proposed the idea and it got turned down.

    I find that there are usually regular medic players to give you back your items, especially with the lovely MissFlea back :smile: If you need items and /md isn't working and theres someone you see playing medic regulary online, just /msg them asking them if they can give you a heal. Or if you see a medic, you can double tap the Q key on them w/ your crosshair, I personaly tend to notice that more than /md. I can't speak for the others but I'd be willing to heal someone if they got my attention, sometimes I just don't notice /md. While I do agree medic should get credits for heals in some way, I don't agree with the chest idea. I don't want to be redundant and repeat what others have already said, but I agree with Sharp I and a way for medic to earn credits but I do not think what makes medic so unique should be taken away and definitely not replaced.

    I understand exactly where you are coming from, but try to think about it objectively. If there was no medic class, would the game really change? That's what I always consider before suggesting an idea. Does the game change, and is it a good change. So say they're removed medic, added the chest reloaders, and added another class similar to medic. Maybe it's all leather armour and an iron sword, and teammates hit the medic to be healed? Something like that. It could all work out, just depends on your point of view. Although I do understand everyone's concerns and they are all pretty reasonable.

    Yes, the game will change if there was no medic. Medic is the only class that can restock your items etc. Chemist goes next to medic with pots and stuff but medic can give you steak, it's vital in matches, and even in normal games. No need for explaining - it's just a good class.

    Everything you just said can be replaced with the strategically placed supply chests, making way for medic to be re-purposed,

    I don't think chests would be needed in the game anyway. You're in a chest, boom one hit you get assassinated.

    You would just left click them, it would start the cooldown and you would instantly get your items.
