    Hey Brawl
    Wizzlol707. I was playing CTF today, and this player called TheFuriousMiner came up with a pretty decent idea. How about the players on the winning team get like, say, 10 extra credits? If they end up winning the match, they get 25 credits. I thought this idea was pretty good. Kudos to TheFuriousMiner

    And then a personal addition, if a player switches teams in-game, they wouldn't get ANY bonus points. But, if they switch in BETWEEN games, they CAN get the bonus creds. This was my addition.

    There's already a thousand threads on this idea and there are a few problems with it like A) People switch just to get credits, B) people just afk and get the win for doing nothing, etc

    Like he said, it would be easy to abuse. Sometimes people afk for actual reasons (i.e. going to the bathroom, answering the phone, getting a snack), so there would have to be a time set for how long someone could afk before the credits for winning are revoked.

    Good point. But if someone hasn't been on for like 5 mins or longer, they don't get the credits. (Because using the bathroom and calling people usually doesn't take that long).

    I see. The only problem is that some people join with only a couple of minutes left in the game but they help their team win via a cap or recov. They should be able to get credits for winning, seeing as how they joined and helped.

    How about you need to get at least 10 kills to get those extra credits, so it would prevent people just afking and getting the extra credits.

    Same idea has been suggested atleast 5 times even with a switching = no credits thing. No, easy to abuse.

    I see what you mean, but if Depresso's thing gets added, it would be tougher to abuse.

    It wouldn't necessarily remove the ability to abuse, just makes it a little harder.

    This keeps on getting brought up (in fact, this idea probably has been suggested more often than Scout was suggested back on YAF). It always gets rejected due to the same reasons, and although you would be able to work around these reasons, it probably wouldn't be worth it. Especially with our limited dev time.

    yeah, but then you've at least DONE something. If you go afk with only 2 kills, I don't think you deserve the credits.

    This has been suggestion a billion times already. I don't like the idea without safeguards in place for people that switch. Other than that, it's a decent incentive to play objectively.

    The afk could be based on a % of the time you were moving. Rather than # mins still
