    Note: As comments come in to suggest things I will update the concept of this based on the comments feedback.

    Scout

    Command: /scout

    Free/Premium: Free
    Intended Niche: While there are many classes that are meant for recovering, none of these turn out to be free. Currently, if you want to recover the flag with a good chance of success, you either use ninja or assassin. This is terrible for new players who don't have these classes because the only class that has the slightest chance of recovery is Soldier. Scout intends to fill this gap, by adding a free recovery class and a class that new players can use to recover their flag.

    Intended Role: Recovery, Scouting
    Possible Roles: Ambush, Midfield Harassment, Obliterating Weak Classes, Countering Engineers.

    Class Description: Basically a class that is a "Mini-Assassin" (I'm terrible at descriptions)

    • Same mechanics as normal steak

    • Has a 10-second cooldown before next use
    • Can only be used 5 times

    Passives:
    -Speed III
    -Strength I
    -Engineer turrets cannot detect Scout unless the scout is 2 blocks away

    Abilities:
    Leap:
    -Double Jumping makes the scout "leap" 6-8 blocks away

    X-Ray Sight:
    -When crouching all flag carriers get glow for as long as scout is crouching
    -The glow effect is only visible to the Scout.
    -X-Ray Sight can only be used for 8 seconds and has an 8-second cooldown (cooldowns and use time shown by xp bar)

    Heavy is a class with no true role or anything, ofc it can do anything.

    Heavy can't do everything but, with buffs, it can do a lot more than this class. -1

    I would give scout a special ability to compensate for how weak it is. Before I do that, I will prove how weak it is because it seems like you don't know that. This class has three steak which is the same as heavies, but has leather armor. This means it has the same armor as pyro. However, pyro has a better health pool and damage output. This sharp I wooden sword with strength is the same as a diamond sword with damage of 3.5 hearts. Basically, scout has the same damage output even when heavy doesn't have buffs! Scout is literally a heavy that has 3rd worst armor in the game tied with pyro with the slightest buff of speed I. If you added buffs to heavy, it'd be a no-brainer which class anybody would choose. Now if you compare scout to pyro, the wooden sword does 0.5 hearts more than the diamond axe, which is barely a difference. However, when pyro sets players on fire, it significantly boosts the damage, and there's also frenzy which is pretty much a 1-shot kill.

    Seeing how the current idea of scout is so underpowered, I would give it some special abilities. These new abilities should fit with the theme of scout. My ideas are:
    -Scout goggles/vision. This allows scout to see shifting players. Perhaps this could be a permanent effect or maybe one with cooldown.
    -Teleporation Sphere. Just an enderpearl. This would probably have a cooldown though, but enhances the mobility like a real scout.
    -Leap. Allows player to leap in the direction faced. You can only leap when you're touching the ground (so you can't fly like elf).
    -Sugar rush. The name doesn't make sense, but after hitting a enemies x times, the player gets a speed x for x seconds. Maybe some regenration too.
    I would also buff the overall stats in the armor, health, damage, or mobility.

    Scout pretty much just needs some buffs, probably through some abilities or boosts in armor and health.

    I don't think this kit would powerful enough and stand a chance with the FREE kits as they are OP enough, I give this a -1 if you add to this it might change my vote.

    Like said in most of the comments above, this class would prove futile against all the other ones. Until other abilities are added to this, the fundamentals of the class remain weak. I don't think this would be useful as a CTF class.

    Adrenaline Rush cooldown is very redundant.
    Extend X-Ray Sight cooldown.

    Okay, it's way too good in my opinion now. Resistance II makes it so that you basically have full chain armor, in addition with the leather that's like full iron.
    It's a ninja with full iron and one of the highest health pools in the game, a bit less damage output, way more mobility as the cost of 2 hearts from a pearl is basically useless (and has double jump), unaffected by turrets and an added bonus when you get 20 hits, which is pretty easy with speed 2 without taking much damage in return.

    I like it. Of course I like any class that would be added, but I like the concept of the scout.

    You've got a lot of good ideas going on in this class individually, but as a whole, they lack the coherence that many of the other classes have with their abilities. For example, I think that your armor on this class if fine, although I'd personally dye it white to distinguish it from a pyro, and that the leaping effect is a new idea that hasn't been seen in a CTF class yet and would suit the scout class nicely, as does the passive speed.

    With that being said, I believe that the ender pearl is simply out of place, as it is a ninja item. The passive strength buff and adrenaline mechanic seem out of place simply because they are used to compensate for the fact that a scout has a weak weapon. Additionally, neither of those two passive abilities seem to fit on a scout class. They would be better suited to a berserker-like class.

    Similarly, the x-ray mechanic seems like a 'second thought' ability that's tacked on. While it is a neat ability, it would be my opinion that this would be an ability better suited for a different class that specializes in locating enemy players, and debuffing the enemy while buffing your teammates. I'd leave this class solely for recovery only. In addition, the more abilities you add, the less likely it is to stay a free class.

    +0.5 for now. Good overall idea, but it needs some ability tweaks, increased role specification, and added coherence to have a better shot at becoming a class.

    This is good. The class has many small but useful abilities that can be used all of the time. I would just leave it to be as op as it is so that when testing, it can be nerfed then.

    This is basically a better ninja in every single aspect without flash bombs and invisibility, but the steak, extra damage output, speed and double jump make up for those.

    I wouldn't even test this as is because it would obviously need nerfing.
