    CTF Map Submission

    Map Name: Quintet Falls I
    Map ID: 380280
    Style: Village with two castles; rework.
    Creator(s): Snowbreak and TBF.
    Structure Restricted Areas: Flag building, Buildings, Key bridges, Tunnel

    When reworking this map we did not want to make any severe changes, but rather enhance the map by capturing the essence of Quintet Falls and transferring it into the current age. Being so, we decided to make the map seem as close to the original as possible, with changes to the gameplay aspects and detail in order to sustain the map and eliminate previous flaws.

    Changes Include:
    Symmetrical Map; original was far from so.
    New hills, waterfalls, and terraforming.
    Movement of spawn from annoying waterfall location to tower location.
    New accessible flag building.
    New houses, along with an underground tunnel.
    Some new sponges and refurbishing.
    Others I neglected to list.

    Feedback and constructive criticism is appreciated, as we made some interesting decisions regarding the map.
    (we might be making a few more changes but they will be listed below if we do.)

    I like it, and I'd love to be able to play on this map once again.

    ay this used to be Defy's map b4 OCV was a thing xd

    decent changes although not much from the looks of it (I'd like to see the underground tunnel)...would still like to see it in rotation

    If you're just talking from looking at the pictures then yes, it does look like the original and that was the plan. However, we rebuilt basically everything except the midfield bridge, parts of the midfield castle and general layout.

    As for the funneling players to one side of the map, I made the upwards sponge at spawn in order to move players towards the middle, although it may not be too clear it will probably be after a few games playing the map. If it's too big an issue I can edit the spawn sign to face the direction of the upwards sponge.

    Camping with the flag on those glass panes above spawn would be pretty risky and pointless. They're extremely hard to get to in the first place, and a single ninja egg hits you into the spawn through the glass anyway. However, I did move the heads to a non-abuseable area, but I'd prefer to keep the glass in pane form just for asthetics.

    The engineer flag-camping spot you brought up isn't feasible, as the entire building is made of restrictions and have a 7x7x7 area around the building (kind of like hiding behind the building on skyworlds.) They can be headshot if they are there anyway.

    I'd prefer to keep the lilypads as is and not add bridges because I'd like to not have too many bridges, and in my point of view the lilypads are pretty easy to cross anyway, and they were part of the original Quintet.

    I added some double soul sand at the bases of the large castle at mid for jumping off easily. Prior to that there was water down and staircases.

    And about the slime blocks, I originally intended for them to be used when jumping through the vines, but I can add some more if need be to go from the top route.
