Favorite CTF Server (From MCPVP)

    Once upon a time, CTF had a wide range of active 'servers.' Usually your average player would just log on to mcctf.com and jump onto some random server and play. When the match was over they quit the server and hopped back on mcctf.com. Rinse, repeat.

    Eventually there was a movement of players who would only play on certain servers because that's where their friends played. These players were "regulars."

    Way back when I was a young child around the age of 12/13, I discovered a3.mcctf.com. The competition there was decent. I was your average wall-spamming soldier who was pretty good at capping. Met some skilled players like enderpixel, skyleviathan, copper, killerworm etc.. it was lit.

    One day I decided to add all of the CTF ip's to my list - a1.mcctf.com - a5.mcctf.com, b1.mcctf.com - b5.mcctf.com, (and I may have added the C's servers, I'm not sure). I don't remember exactly how I discovered B1, maybe some people were talking about it in a chat. I have no clue.

    B1 is the server that made me realize how trash I was at CTF. Not only did players on B1 seem to have all of the premium classes, but ranked CTFers played on there as well. A couple of mods like Saixos and Coasted played on there too sometimes, they were good af. In my opinion CTF was at it's best back in those days... good freaking times.

    Obviously this question is mainly for those who played CTF on MCPvP: which CTF server was your favorite and why?

    b1.(eu.)mcctf.com - used to play on the c servers but I'd get like 3 caps per game most games... it was way too easy. b1 put me in my place >_>

    B4 because I met all of my old friends there and TTT was started there.

    B1 was really cool too because I had a lot of friends there too before the other servers died out and A1 was the only one with players. It was always full of people you'd see on the forums and on teams, mods, and even some admins. Pretty much everyone that played had a colored name basically lol. I liked when there were a bunch of servers with games and A1-A4 would always be full on free day 100% of the time and there were regulars on B1-B9 (well idk about B8) and C1-C4 that eventually turned into teams.

    Honestly, I didn't have a certain server I played on. I kind of hopped around all of them, in both EU and US.

    Yeaaah I was the same. Besides the occasional times when I stuck around to target some players (@wintergreen3 , *sigh* good times) I generally just server hopped around trying my best not to suck.

    Same here. I was in the situation where I didn't realize about the various servers till later when I actually became a "regular". I just joined whatever server it put me on and there I go. I eventually situated on the 1 servers: mostly a1 and b1, sometimes c1 if I wanna relax. Good times

    I don't even remember. I just entered the mcctf portal and it teleported me to a random one. Seeing how a1-a4 was always full, probably those ones.

    I'd follow certain people around because originally I didn't have many friends, so I'd go server to server following the couple of people I knew. Also, my connection to the US servers was so bad that it'd be the same as playing on an EU server, so I'd often get on EU to play with the people there.
