    After weeks of frustration and two technology meltdowns I am very pleased to announce that the second episode of the Nerfed Podcast is happening tomorrow. It is about Necro.

    Unlike the previous podcast, which consisted of four dudes sitting in skype talking smack while I get my sh*t together, this will have two more dudes, in discord, actually talking about Necro. For this podcast they are...

    Purpose of this thread: to gather questions/comments from community members about Necro (it helps avoid sifting through a ton of sh*t on the forums) and what to do or not do with it. This podcast, like the last one, will have a heavy emphasis on Miskey's opinion this thread and some of the responses so please submit relevant questions or comments.

    Necro is obviously weak and has been for a while. The main aspect of this class which is the ability to summon mobs is underwhelming. I suggest focusing on buffing the summoning ability rather than giving it better armor or enhancing its melee damage. Necro doesn't need the armor and it's power could go somewhere else, similar to how engi only has leather armor and iron helm/boots but makes up for it with unique and useful utility. Nerf necro's armor and health pool (like remove a steak) and give it some abilities that are actually useful. Perhaps a mob grenade launcher that spawns a bunch of mobs could be added instead of just spawn eggs because you can't spawn them very far from yourself. This way, you could deploy them in front of a flag carrier to slow them down or maybe distract an archer for a while. I also suggest fixing the horrific mob AI because it is still absolutely garbage. I had the flag with like 2 hearts as ninja and I pearled into a zombie horde. They just sat there like icebergs and I escaped and capped. Give it more abilities because necro is stuck in deep hole. Almost no one plays it right now because it's really boring and you can't even kill a heavy in a 1v1. This class has no real role besides maybe killing people and taking out engis, both of which are better taken on by classes like archer, heavy, assassin, or engineer. It's good that the rework made necro less of a camping class, but it's still one of the weakest classes out there, second only to fashionista.

    What if you made necro a half pvp class, where you kill players and receive an "egg" of that players class that can spawn and despawn a mob that has the same damage, armor, and potion effects of the killed players class with a fourth of the health pool (including steak) and buff the speed of the mob by 1 or 2, bc slow zombies don't do anything. You can get multiple eggs and some classes can be special, like killing a pyro spawns a blaze, or killing an archer spawns a skeleton, chemist witch, etc. You change the armor of necro accordingly and maybe even let it start off with a soldier egg or something, idk just throwing ideas out there.
