it doesnt matter if the account was hacked or glitched, the levels were still gained illegimately and he wasnt actually punished for it

 

What's the problem here? What do you mean we should've let him know. Dropping 100 levels like @BrawlIsMyCity said is pretty big, and he did know what was going on. He glitched intentionally and knew that it wasn't fair. He deserved this in my opinion.

 

The point MR_EVIL_OVERLORD is making, is that there was zero communication between the serverteam and me about this.

 

Ok if they was planning on removing your levels, why would they talk to you? I'm guessing you would have tried to stop them.

 

I'm pretty sure you guys were going a bit easy on him. He could have gotten a warning about this, but he was fully aware that he glitched the entire time. I'm surprised the staff team didn't ban him.

 

As I said already many times. It was one glitch, once for an instant 70 levels boost.

All they had to do was PM him, letting him know his stats were going to be reset and tell him why, no arguments. Otherwise he could've thought it was another glitch, he was in the dark about this. All you people saying "he glitched, he should've known why his stats were reset" bro he glitched months ago, and he thought that putty already reached a verdict about it, so he thought that his glitching wasn't the reason.

His entire thread could've been avoided if one of you "staff members" were professional like Evil said, and just let him know what was going to happen. If communication between the staff team and the community is so difficult, I'm surprised this server is still a thing if I'm being honest.

He did this months ago, and he was told by chickenputty (or so he thought) that he should be fine. Months later, this happens, and he has no idea why.

Not true.
They weren't just reverted, they gave me an extra penalty losing thirty more levels. There is certainly a need for communication in such case.

The only communication there ever was, was right after it happened.

So then I threw some thickened arguments about how XP and levels are quite important to everyone playing and he said:

It's like getting banned in game for doing something you did months ago, without a reason for the ban that you can see. The server does need communication, in EVERY situation. Especially since this happened months ago.

There's no mistaking there was a lack of communication on the staff's end here and I'm sorry for that. I'll say it since I'm not sure all other staff will, so I hope you can accept mine a little. However, you will not get a public apology from them. It will not happen because, in the end, they're the ones who decide what to do and when. That is they're choice, for better or for worse, and although it is not the correct way to run a business, we are not in any position to run it ourselves.

However, this matter also should've been handled privately with roke and putty only. By creating a public forums thread, you have decreased your own professionalism and put the staff in a position where they must choose to ether side with the higher ups or with the community. I'm not saying this thread isn't important to bringing attention to the lack of transparency between the staff team and the community, however, I was expecting more of a civilized, calm discussion about why the chain of events happened, and then an appropriate course of action to rectify the situation, instead of the thread of accusations I'm currently seeing.
