Idea Teamwork has too much meaning!

    This is different from all my ideas for CTF that i had. I have seen players capture nearly every time which i find too overpowered when they work with a few teammates [mostly medics]. And before i get everyone telling me i am wrong, i will give some evidence to persuade you to not tell me i am wrong. DaddyColor and JamesKirk worked together in the CTF games i have played to capture. They are a medic and a soldier and they also have support from other teammates as well sometimes. They mostly capture using that methods. Lowering the maximum amount of players in a CTF server will make too much teamwork less overpowered.

    Now you may tell me im wrong for whatever reason.

    So you're trying to get rid of the whole point of ctf? You need a big team. You need heavies and pyro's and dwarves to drfend, assassin and archer and some other classes to go midfield, and soldier+ninja to attack. You need most of the classes to be able to do anything. Teamwork is basically the key to winning a game let alone match. Especially in ctf matches, in which you need a LOT of teamwork to win a match. If you try to nerf teamwork, you're nerfing the whole game.

    When the whole enemy team goes offensive and captures every single time and my team just chases after the enemy team's flag carrier and fails due to too much medics and mages.

    Im just saying too much teamwork is too overpowered when there are too much players in a team.

    Winning the game is basically the aim of the game, and you basically need teamwork to win. Just get better defense imo lmao.

    I have very few words except no, just no.

    literally the point of teamwork is to give your team an advantage over the other team. it's always going to be OP regardless of how many players are on the server

    If you dont have any offense and your hole team is defending :/
    And solo capping against a pyro, 2heavys, 1assassin,1ninja will likely wont work.
    Medic sense is to support either the defense or the offense.
    Organizing a offense group is also really hard, timing needs to be right, you cant die, you need to find players for it but still have enough on defense.
    Lowering the maximum players wouldnt solve this "Problem".

    Teamwork is what makes CTF Fun. Not just 0 defense and 1 player going in. With teamwork you can strategize. This wouldn't solve what you call a problem.

    You've got two things messed up. First, lowering game sizes will not reduce the "op" teamwork. If anything, it will make it more effective because those people who coordinate and are friend will continue to play together, and when going on small servers, it's easier to cap since their is less defense.
    Second, teamwork is supposed to be as good as it is! The purpose of CTF is to work together to cap or defend. Neefing the the point of the game makes no sense and this thread seems kind of pointless. Perhaps you could better explain what you want? Like do you want to nerf the offensive classes because they capture too easily? Nerf medic's heal? Just don't say that teamwork is op because your team lost.

    Yeah.... Sorry Storm, I just don't see your point. The purpose of ctf is to work together, and thus the best TEAM wins the game. The entire game mode is team based, so props to those guys for pulling off some killer coordination.

    Next, a similar thread has already been posted on game sizes, you can add your opinion to this poll if you'd like https://www.brawl.com/threads/67172/ (Note: the reasons for game sizes are completely different then what was posted here) To conclude, this thread is nothing more than a rant. Their team was better, so they won. Life moves on. One more thing, game sizes won't change the effectiveness of a teams coordination. Maybe rethink the purpose of this thread.

    People seem to be forgetting that the majority of players online are noobs who don't know how to heal as medic, so teamwork isn't the easiest of things to do. Hell, a lot of the time, even the regulars are unwilling to switch to medic to heal someone even when they've respawned.

    Teamwork should either somehow be something literally everyone does (any ideas for this? I'd actually love CTF if everyone used teamwork), or it should at least be counterable. Let's be real, a buffed heavy camping next to an engi turret and 2 ninjas is impossible to kill with just one person. I definitely don't think teamwork should be completely removed, however.
