I respect that you and some other players identify so strong as a team. But I just said it as an overall reminder and I dont know why TBF feel attacked. And I never talked with November/TT about that topic.

Yeah, that can get annoying real quick, I'm for it. It's match rules, so it's not like actual code has to be altered and it can be changed back very quickly if it poses a problem.

TBH who's even using elf on defense anyways though?

 

Not enough people use it for it to be a problem. Like what if two people started doing the infinite ice spell trick. Then it would be annoying and you would probably make a thread on it from banning it from MMR, yet no one does it.

Lol why do you use this strategy then lmao if you think it's useless... you would probably say an elf can escape with wind element but do you expect a ninja to repeatedly enderpearl themselves to the player.. but then they could get shot by an archer so no hassle

 

Unpopular opinion: Imo it's not cheap or unfair, it's often difficult to hit a good soldier with earth element over and over again. Also, as many people have said before, elf is fairly easy to stop. Its low armor makes it an easy target for ninjas and heavies, and all you have to do to stop the earth spam is to disrupt the player. If it's really that bad, then we might as well ban mage all the time because its freeze is 'cheap,' or we need to ban archer because headshot is 'cheap.' I just don't see what's worse about earth spam than any other annoying mechanic in CTF that's still allowed. I just feel like removing this wouldn't really do much besides narrow strategies even more than they currently are. I'm not saying I'm right this is just an opinion don't flame kthx (I'm sure this will be met with constructive rebuttal :^)
