CTF Team Idea: Home Court

    One thing about most CTF teams is that they have a preferred or main map that they use in competitive play. Knowing this, I thought it would be a cool idea if team members could make a custom version of their main map. This would mean adding their team's name, abbreviation, and/or logo somewhere on their map (could be in the floor or on a building, wherever is fine).

    This would be a cool aesthetic add-on that would also make tournaments look more professional.

    Other Notes:
    -Map Titles would be [Team Acronym] Map Name
    -The logo/add-on/abbreviation shouldn't change gameplay from the original map, and should only be present to be looked at

    Problems:
    -A new set of Map IDs for refs to memorize (shouldn't be too much of a problem at first)

    I like the idea but am wondering would each team only be allowed one map? Correct me if I'm wrong but rn there is only one team (tc) that only picks the same map, so if each team has multiple maps with their logos or whatever then the ids might be a bigger problem.

    Depends on what more people think, but most teams do have a map they pick more often then not (Ex. TT Pagodas). I'd say pick the map your team does best at and make that the one map you call home base. Good question

    In the latest 3 tt matches they didn't pick Pago so I wouldn't say they pick it more often then not more currently

    They don't have to use the map. It's just for the main map that they use. Would the main map also Be subject to change? Could a team change their main map?

    Two things that I would watch out for
    1. Usage of spawn blocks - If they are on the floor, then it could be a problem, but I doubt that would be an issue
    2. Usage of glass / other transparent blocks - they can affect ninja pearls, especially glitches etc

    Other than that, I think this is a great idea and would be cool to implement OuOb

    What would Anni do to airlock rework xd. When already have an entire quotes room, our names in spawn and on the sidebar.

    In all honesty though, setting up extra configs could be a pain in the ass.

    Simply a screenshot I had that would save me time from making a different example.

    I mean Opposites is a much better map for the Defiant Knights but whatever floats your boat

    or every team can 'claim' a single map (with their initials on it) if it is their favorite pick in most all official matches
    but if two teams 'claim' the same map, then they have to duke it out, maybe in a 3-5 round official match using just that map, and whoever wins gets the real claim on it (initials included)

    or should teams be able to claim up to 3 maps? (top tier teams ofc would have a bit of claiming superiority, as they should)
    tbh it would be jolly additional competition

    If there could be a way to set up a config that was easy to remember, then this would be great. Maybe we can get Putty to make special configs, like for instance Blackout's number is 424. So the TC config for that map could be something like "424_TC" or "424-TC".

    I mean that would be kinda cool,
    Or just make them the team acronym without numbers to make it super easy for mods? If that's possible
