anti cheat system

I got auto banned when my ms was in the 600's and I was trying to wall climb. **** happens

 

I still haven't gotten perma banned, so yeah its pretty bad

 

I don't get how you can use open source autoclickers cranked at 30CPS and not get banned after nailing kids for 12 hours.

Who needs a good anticheat when we have the brawl.com staff team to detect all the hackers. Some of them have even tested a free ghost client that isn't up to date!

 

I could get this thread locked by starting an argument about why we need screensharing.

I think that I, as a staff member, should be able to ask someone if they would be up to doing a screen share. If they would like to do a screen share and prove their innocence, they should have the right to do so. I don't see any harm in being allowed to ask; I think the problem comes with forcing people to share screens.

here's a bright idea- record the cheaters :O

edit before i get flamed by smartasses who say staff wont ban them, if they dont get banned, cheat as blatantly as them and you wont get banned, several ctfers are following that trend xddd

The anti cheat bans blatant cheaters which is a plus, if you get annoyed by closet cheaters record them and have good evidence. If that isn't enough you can ask a staff if they can screenshare them, although you are allowed to reject them because you have your own privacy.

 

make screenshares mandatory ;D

 

I would be all for screensharing as long as there are qualified, individuals doing it. To many times you have idiots that have no idea what the **** they are doing COUGHFAITHFULCOUGH, who like to poke around in other things. Bottom line, it is a rather extreme method that should be used only when all other efforts have been exhausted.
