    I have heard rumors that in the new update they are going to nerf the sawed-off's damage yet make it more ranged and efficient. There is also ruckus about shrooms being nerfed, and or, taken off completely yet I cannot find any mod that has posted upon these rumors. Can someone tell me the news the new update and what is hopefully going to be expected??

    Yes, if only staff was slightly more public about their random updates. If I'm not mistaken, these are the following updates that are going to happen eventually;
    -sawed off nerf
    -shroom nerf
    -lasso nerf
    -map change
    -economy wipe
    -changes in prices of gear? (might've been a rumor)
    I'm pretty sure that's all the stuff that's been publicly announced, but without ZaddyMeep as a mod who knows how long this will take. I'm sure we will hear about something soon.     All these rumors are true. I finally finished the new map yesterday, so I will have more time to get to the actual coding updates and discussing them with the community now.
    Yes yes we have been making a new map. And it is pretty much done now.

    What no. Oh I realize what I said above wasnt true 100%. Rather than the "comming update" including those things, our planned update contains those things :V

    What about sheriff ranks xd
    I'm fine with not playing sheriff for the first few weeks of it, so everyone can get stuff and stuff, I can just play on alt for that time xd

    Idk, we'll see. These ideas have to be discussed with the community before they are implemented, so nothing is decided. The current plan is cutting every price to half while reducing drug and gem payout just as much. This would allow us to balance the eco more easily - it is harder to balance an already inflated economy if the prices and payouts already are high.

    A sheriff reset is planned. I would also like to remind you guys this is all is just planned, and might very well end up like rc1's gameplan, but whatever, at least the map is done.

    We're working on that.

    Unfortunately it's not as simple as me telling you everything that's going on behind the scenes, for 2 reasons:
    1. I don't actually get told about everything behind the scenes on every gamemode. I know more than I should know, but that's still not everything.
    2. We're simply not allowed to do this. I wish I could, but when revealing any staff-only information we require permission from higher-ups, and we rarely get this.
    Recently I've tried to get permission to post a thread saying everything we plan on doing in 2018, but I have not been allowed to do this. I know another staff member is currently trying to get a thread out which will improve transparency, too. [EDIT: The thread was just released.]

    In other words; we're listening, we're on your side and we're fighting for more transparency too.
