CTF in 2018?

I don't think that's any different from the past few years

 

Although generally speaking, "kill-*****s" have always been a problem, there's been times (guess when haha) when there were a lot more players playing 'objectively'.
Even though I didn't play that much during the past six months or so, it seems to me that the trend has moved towards personal accomplishments.
It's fine when some people don't want to cap and just clear the flagroom, but if you do it three times and nobody of your team grabs the flag, well, what's the real point of it?
Spawnkilling people? I still don't get why you'd do it besides for your own ego? Especially the first seems to be quite in fashion these days.

i love killing ppl (ingame) esp when i have the excuse that its for the team objective #24/7FlagroomClearing
tbh tho just stealing the flag i get to kill more ppl than when i dont have the flag

Alright, so there are plenty of ways to kill***** productively besides just killing anyone who dares walk out of spawn or midfielding.
1. defending;
Easiest way to earn credits (if your into that stuff) and almost gauranteed to have players coming through it. Plus you get to chase them across the map like you would do anyways :’D
2. Playing recovery;
Go and target the guy with the funny lookin peice of wood sticking out of his head. Thats always fun right? Or just kill everybody around him. Any little bit helps I suppose.
3. Offense support
So your flag carrier is getting chased by a pyro, assassin, and 35 genuine juicy and fragile ninjas. Have a field day and you’ll make your carrier’s life a whole lot easier.

What I do depends on the map, but if I’m ever gonna kill*****, I’m always going to have my priority on the flag carrier or any medics around them, once nobody has our flag? Back to annoying the **** outta people.
