    hello. i think it would be cool if there was more moderator involvement in ctf events.

    it used to be a thing in the past but isnt really anymore. quarrelt used to try and host monthly events like the maze map, tdm, arena matches, old maps etc, but we never really see this anymore. we used to have the map wave events where you would get 35v35 games on brand new maps as well as things like EU vs US, allstar match, etc.

    miskey went through a small phase of hosting things on the match server but for the most part they were very spontaneous and weren't pre-scheduled. i did enjoy these events and i am sure others did too since it saw a decently wide range of people playing in them even tho they were only small events

    i think more scheduled events would be quite a bit of fun and something to consider. events like deathmatches, old map events, free vs premium games, everyone as one class, maps with config that arent in rotation, that offense vs defense map i dont remember the name of, arena map, etc. events like these sometimes happen but they are often very unorganised and happen suddenly. for example i dont think i have ever seen a proper match on the offense vs defense map and i can only think of one instance of the arena map being used properly.

    its also 2018 now so the annual EU vs US/allstar games could happen as they havent yet this year.

    Miskey was talking about an event in the near future (hype for that), but having a staff member who is focused on coming up with events monthly would be nice. They don't have to be extravagant, just something fun that the community can partake in. Like you said, scheduling events instead of having them at random would increase the organization and player count of the events if everyone knows when they are.

    I’m currently working on several future known and unknown events. As soon as everything is dealt with I will publish the events. But as of now I would forgive the not being any events hence the tournament is still active. I do agree that it would be nice to see more events on a regular basis being organized

    I have quite a few events that I'll be posting in a larger thread sometime soon. If there's anything specific you guys would like to see feel free to reply here or pm me with details. The tournament is considered our "current event", so that's why there's not much else going on right now. We want to keep the focus on the tournament.

    Tournaments might be going on but mini games can happen in between if any Mods and above set them up instead of PPM after PPM that people normally set up and repeat the same players and same maps...
