    I haven't made a post in such a long time so it feels good to be active on the forums again.

    Necros will never be able to spawn blazes because as you know they need 15ks. So i thought of an idea that might make necro better but might also make it too op. This is just a suggestion so it can be improved.

    Necro's zombies, skeletons and blazes don't need killstreaks to spawn and there can be 12 mobs at maximum spawned but the mob eggs take twice as long to generate, the necro has weaker armor and weaker weapons.
    The mob buff mechanics are still the same. Only the zombies can enter the flagroom.

    -Leather Helmet
    -Iron Chestplate
    -Golden Leggings
    -Leather Boots

    -Hotbar slot 1: Stone pickaxe with the same enchantments as the necro pickaxe right now.
    -Hotbar slot 2: 4 Steak
    -Hotbar slot 3: Mob Healing Golden Sword, heals half a heart every hit
    -Hotbar slot 4: Mob Beacon [the same effects as the mob beacon right now]
    -Hotbar slot 5: The Necro starts off with 0 zombie eggs, egg generates every 30 seconds, maximum 5.
    -Hotbar slot 6: The Necro starts off with 0 skeleton eggs, egg generates every minute, maximum 4
    -Hotbar slot 7: The Necro starts off with 0 blaze eggs, egg generates every 2 minutes, maximum 3
    -Hotbar slot 8: Despawn book
    -Hotbar slot 9: Compass

    I feel like that many mobs would be too many due to FPS issues, but I definitely support the idea of having a diverse army of mobs rather than the snowball mechanic how it currently is.

    I’d personally make them spawn every 3 to 5 minutes, I like the idea, but maybe don’t allow it to spawn in right away, give it a time frame of 2-3 minutes before you can just have one in game (free day would be insane with blazes right off the bat)

    Also, I feel like the pick should at least be stone, just so it’s not too weak without minions


    Other than the blaze spawning in immediately and the pick, it’s a +1 from me

    I'll give you some credit, the killstreaks required for obtaining better mobs is far too high, so that should definitely be looked at. But the issue with you idea is not changing the actual mob mechanics. As the staff mentioned in their q/a the issue with necro is the mob AI, which is arguably worse than the vanilla mobs. Without any suggestions to improve mob ai in the thread, and an armor nerf for necro I can't see this being added.

    Overall this feels like a nerf, which is the complete opposite of what necro needs. Again, the idea is intriguing, but just spawning more mobs that have no improvements made to them is useless. -1

    I personally think there should still be a kill streak so there's more of an interest and goal implemented in necro so there's more of a competitive component. Perhaps just make the kill streak lower? However its still a good idea and I think it would be interesting to see if necro does get this buff and maybe be a bit more fun and useful.

    Any buff for necro is good, however I don't like the random amount, I would rather see this fixed (x amount of blazes max / skeletons max / zombies max).
    Example:
    Note; all mobs are in a situation where they are the only type of mobs spawned
    15 zombies are maximum
    10 skeletons
    8 blaze

    What I'm trying to say is that mobs would be given a certain value, so that you wouldn't be able to spawn more mobs than your value. You'd start with a max value of 120, zombies would be 8 in value, skeletons 12 and blaze 15. Your currency would regenerate with a slow amount of 5 per 10 seconds, being slightly faster than the current system and allowing you to combine multiple mobs. This would remove the whole buffing system and I'd need to work on some solution for that, perhaps you could spend some of that value on buffs too I don't know, feedback is welcome.

    Instead of this I'd just like to see improvement on the mob ai. The killstreak system would be more relevant if the mobs actually did anything. The current mob ai is somehow worse than vanilla minecraft, and to me, that's the glaring issue with necro.

    Guys lets be honest here, Necro was at its best when we just placed a spawner and that was the whole thing, now that we dont have a spawner for some reason why are we still carrying picks i mean we arent breaking anything anymore would a sword make necro stronger with the current set up? would bringing back the spawner be the right call?
