    A number of people have already said multiple things I agree with, namely miskey, supermii2 and
    - Your numbers are... interesting. Fairly sure 87% of your statistics are made up and 2500% are exaggerated
    - The class could be considered too powerful, but..
    - Nerfing it to any great extent is a bad idea. Plenty of veterans play because of this class, and any major changes would spark backlash

    However, I want to take a look specifically at:



    As someone has already said, ninja accounts for a large part of CTFs revenue, which is fine. However, hypothetically if ninja was removed, you have no idea that those other players would spend on the next best alternative (LET ALONE 2 or more other classes at the same time). You have no idea whether or not ninja revenue would be offset by any change like that, and therefore no way of knowing whether the server would make more or less money in that alternative system.


    Firstly (as mentioned by someone else), chemist main wants ninja nerfed. It's more likely to ruin game-play for you than a number of other classes.
    Let's just go through these each 1 by 1
    - 50% of the players in a game aren't ninjas and, hypothetically speaking, if they were the vast majority would not be ninja mains. The class is extremely frail and many don't know how to make use of the tools at their disposal. Couple hits and they're dead, and they won't be able to return as fast as other, more experienced ninjas. This limits the effect they have on a game, however it does
    - increase eggspam, partially because ninjas that don't know what they're doing aren't very conservative with their eggs. Good ninjas know how to use these effectively, and trust me when I say throwing 10 on one player at once is not efficient use. Being inaccurate, they're unlikely to hit long range. Though in short range they can hit, they don't last too long. You can overcome the nausea or endure for the short duration in those circumstances.
    - Versatility in a defence is important. Enemy team could send a bunch of heavies on offense and clear the ninjas out no problem. One medic could sustain any carrier too. Just a matter of beating high damage output with bulk.
    - I'm going to apply damage output specifically to chemist for the purposes of this response given you're a chemist main. If I remember correctly, brawl is running the old sharpness enchantment damage bonuses combined with the new armour formula. This means:
    Sharp V Gold sword = 11.25 damage
    Sharp IV Gold sword = 10 damage
    Applying these to the armour table found here, you'll see the final damage vs a chemist (non-crit) is
    Sharp V Gold sword = 9.02 damage
    Sharp IV Gold sword= 8 damage
    respectively. You're going to be 2-3 shot regardless of your suggested nerf. Sharpness III would be 6.75 (roughly) which still equates to a solid three-shot, omitting critical hits. You haven't thought through your own solution to "fix" ninja

    This applies on top of the other arguments made. Drastic nerfs such as those you're suggesting will provoke backlash. You're forgetting that ninja is specifically designed to be a frail, high damage output class. As a chemist, even such drastic damage nerfs would not significantly affect the amount of hits it takes to kill you.

    I do agree with most people on this thread when they state ninja takes a lot of skill to master. However if you do feel the need that ninja needs to be nerfed, I would suggest having a cool down with the egg's to prevent the egg spam. Or perhaps make the egg's less powerful. Yet, I do not see a need for ninja be nerfed because they're pretty easy to kill and nerfing them would only cause an unbalance and possibly upset everyone who plays ninja. Anyways, that's just my opinion :3
