An Ode to the past: Why I'm back

So a little about me:

#99 for Assassin kills (an ode to my old name, Xplosion99, but had 11,657 kills)

#98 for most deaths (35,718 deaths)

Funnily enough, when I started CTF I was a Soldier main. It wasn't until I bought Assassin that I became an Assassin main as well as become more well-known in the community. I loved MCPVP with all my heart, and died when I found out that it was shutting down.

The main reason why I didn't transfer over to Brawl was because I started playing other games. I became obsessed with Evolve, and I played it so much that I even got onto that leaderboard, becoming 8th in the US for Emet wins. Emet, being the character I loved to play as he was a Medic (I also made my in-game skin to look like Emet). I loved that game, and it too, died out about a year an a half ago. 2K mismanaged the game, and it died. Now after that I got into Overwatch, but now I'm starting to run from that game since it's becoming imbalanced.

In the past few weeks I was just drifting from game to game, until an old friend of my came back into my life. He wanted to play MC so I figured I'd join him. We then played CTF and the nostalgia hit me. Idk if I'll be back for long, but if you care enough about me then just tell me your discord and I'll accept.

Overall, my biggest highlights were helping Miskey get a stat wipe for helping him farm a killstreak with Colonel Graff, and then purchasing my lifetime PRO (now called Elite) which I've never regretted until now since I can no longer play fashionista.

While I'm back, I might try and make a map or two, rework one of the old ones (plz Saixos lemme get my hands on coresteel station), and suffer through the Necro, Engineer, and Dwarn nerfs and reworks since I'm bad.

Edit: Also I have 3 questions:

- Why was Dwarf nerfed (the lvl 11 XP cap)
- Why hasn't at least 1 new class been added over the 3+ years I have been gone?
- Why is Elite green and not gold :C

 

Pretty null, since I'm currently failing college and had a ****ty week a few weeks back, where my parents basement flooded, Car went through $1200 worth of repairs ONLY to have the transmission blow up, then spent another $4000 on a new transmission.

For the most part I'm over it all, but really those are the only things that's happened to me recently.

But... Why??? Dwarf was rarely used. Now it feels like there's no point to pick it.

I want to touch it, but A) I'm not a developer/coder B) I used to code but sucked at it and haven't touched code in years C) Pretty sure the owner of Brawl wouldn't let a random pleb in to see the code since while I am a legacy player I might be a SPY for another server. I mean if I paid to see the code, would he let me? I could, but would need y'all to support me since at least most of you know me.

Then it's time I start working my way up the staff chain :evil laugh:

I wouldn't mind changing the classes, because at the very least that's just number tweaking. However priority #1 would be to update the spigot/bukkit base since I still believe Brawl is on 1.8. Thus we get the new blocks, new features, and don't have to live in fear of the server breaking.

As for Saixos, yeah. I think I talked with some mod back years ago (Birdgirl?) about it and I don't remember. Maybe I'll try asking again, but then we reach the problem where I own like 37 maps in build and don't want to get rid of any of them.
