A PSA to all "friendly" enemy players.

Ever since I became more active on CTF again, I've noticed that a lot of players like to spend their time sitting in the enemy team's flagroom not doing anything. Now this has been a thing ever since the CTF came out, but I see it's more apparent nowadays. Remember you can play the game however you want, as long as it's fair to all players, and if sitting around not doing anything is fun to you, then have at it.

"But TV, you say this and yet you still kill me when I'm friendly. Why?" Well there are multiple reasons for that and they are all justified, and no it's not because I dislike anyone or have a grudge.

First of all, if you are holding the flag, I will make every attempt to kill you. No, I don't care if you aren't attempting to cap. Whenever I play the game, I generally will do whatever is needed to recover the flag, because that is the objective of the game. If you are choosing to make yourself as useful to your team as an undercooked meatloaf, then please do not steal the flag okay? All you are doing is inhibiting the game to people who actually want to play the game.

Secondly, if you are a medic and teaming in the enemy flagroom, I'm probably going to kill you. Why? Well I will notice if you heal enemy ninjas as well as flag carriers. And then I'll make sure you're out of my flagroom. If you are choosing to not attack anyone and sit in the enemy flagroom, then you are choosing to not heal anyone either. It's really aggravating whenever someone is sitting around not doing anything in my flagroom and then all of a sudden want to start playing the game properly and heal enemy players. No, not allowed.

Third, if you have already capped in the game and want to team now all of a sudden, I just won't let you. A lot of times people like to pull that trick when they're "friendly" in the flagroom and then steal the flag when no one is looking. This one's short and simple, so if you cap already, you have made the decision to not be able to team for the rest of that game

Finally, don't get mad when people aren't okay with you teaming either. A lot of randies in this game don't understand the concept of teaming and will usually try to kill you if that's what they're going for. Notice how I said in the beginning of this post that people can play this game in whatever way they want as long as it is fair. If killing players/farming killstreaks is how someone wants to play the game, then let them at it. You're just making it easier for those players. So overall don't get mad whenever other people aren't playing how you want them to.

Rereading this post I find it has quite an aggressive tone, and I feel like I ought to keep it that way. Most of it has to come from players getting angry at me whenever I kill them when they are "teaming" but are actively doing one of the actions I mentioned above.

TL;DR If you're going to act like a friendly player/traitor to your team, don't steal the flag, heal your teammates, pull sly tricks, and get mad when people kill you.
