    CTF Map Submission

    Soul V1
    So after almost a year and a half of being absolutely gone, I got bored, downloaded Minecraft, and reworked my old Soul submission from Wave X. Yeah, this casualty of a map is half-way decent. Yippee! Please, grind this map down to the pulp so I can fix all your problems with it and continue doing nothing for my weekend lol.

    If you have questions about my self-exile, feel free to dm me! I'm probably going to make an intro thread for you to throw all your crumbled paper at.

    Also please, don't be rude or harsh; because I will kindly return as I receive. I'm looking for some constructive criticism. Some of the changes I may not even make because they're artistic or reasonable choices. Don't take it personally. Thanks!


    Also, I promise I'm not as bitter of a person as I sound in this, I'm just tired and have a headache from all these viDeo GamEs.

    very solider op. I would add more accessible ways to the flag from the ground. you have a couple but I would preferably like to see more.
    I would add a way up and down in the front as well (facing the other team)

    Overall map:
    I would suggest adding sponges to the long ladders. (no one likes going up ladders in games that's just my personal preference)
    With the large hill near the flag room, add a way to get up there from the ground.
    Instead of adding ladders to get into caves, try just adding sponges or also a parkour way. add more than one way to get there, perhaps?
    I like the complexity of the map with having an upper part and also an underground part. My only concern is that people will get lost. Try adding signs or, again, directions with a set block that will help out.
    While i do like the underground part, I do find it concerning with the very long single bridge. Try adding walls up to help with archers again. In addition, add some sponges at the bottom of those bridges to help get up onto it if they were to fall off it. I've noticed you have a large sponge near it to get back to the top top, but what if they wanna get back onto that bridge?

    spawn:
    Am I assuming spawn is the red glass? I'm not quite sure but I would suggest not putting it there. try putting it closer to flag or easier to get to the flag. Either that or make it easier for them to quickly get to flag and be less confusing. You can do that in many ways- sponges, signs, placing it closer to flag instead of under it.

    mid:
    Try adding a few more areas to hide from archers. Such as putting up just class barriers or any structure of walls that would help with headshots? I would do this throughout mid where you have long bridges and a lot of open space.

    Conclusion:

    Very complex map and I love it. I love the aesthetics and i love the idea. I would just think of trying to make it easier to get places in different ways. I know im very repetitive and I wish i could personally show you the areas I would add things or remove stuff but hopefully, this helped a bit. Again, i really only quickly looked over it, but if i didn't make sense please tell me and i'll try to elaborate more! I do really love this map!
