Uploading/Downloading Creations

As you might have noticed, we've got a new plugin for WorldEdit called FAWE (Fast Async WorldEdit). It's got a bunch of cool features, and one of those is uploading and downloading schematics! Thanks @SoCool21 for figuring it out! Here's how you do it:

Uploading

First of all, you'll need a schematic ready - this is a file that ends with the .schematic extension; for example, "house.schematic". If you don't know how to create a schematic, here's a tutorial:

Next, head over to THIS LINK and upload your file. From there, you'll get a prompt that'll look something like this:

And from there it's pretty self-explanatory - simply copy the highlighted link and paste it into the in-game chat. This'll copy the schematic to your clipboard, so all you need to do now is //paste, and there's your build! Neat!

Edit: If the schematic does not load or you do not get an output message after running //schematic load, try using 1 /, "/shcem" instead of "//schem."

Downloading

Downloading is even more straightforward - just select a region (using the //wand or //pos1 and //pos2), then type //download. You'll be given a link: follow it, and your schematic download will start immediately

 

well, since we introduced FAWE, which was more like a few weeks ago

I haven't tested it, but I would assume that any player with access to WE on a world would be able to download schematics
