    Sorry for the jankiness i don't know why OBS is being bad lately.
    Been having a lot of fun with command blocks lately so I came back to this.

    Created with command blocks in 1.13.2
    Took about an hour to make. Did a lot of cleanup from the proposals.

    • Scout is a free class intended to fill in the recovery and offense roles. This class idea has been brought up for years and genuinely is the best option for a new class.
    • Can dash 6 blocks in the direction they're looking in by right clicking sword. Has a cooldown of 5 seconds. Cannot continuously dash by holding right click - allowing it to block assassins.
    • Side and back stepping not included in video. Ngl idk how to make those abilities in vanilla efficiently. Details about those extensions are here.

    • Iron sword (sharpess III)
    • 3 steak
    • Leather helmet
    • Iron chestplate
    • Leather leggings
    • Leather boots (feather falling III)
    (Leather armor dyed - Green, Lime, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Brown)
    (can't figure out the color value sorry)

    Technically, the class is made and i'm just showcasing it here. Therefor it doesn't have to be in the ideas section.

    very nice, id like to see it have a chance in-game. tho it has a similar game role/style as a ninja or assassin (e.g. speed+squishy), it's unique and different enough and sure looks fun

    i think new players would love it, for not only being something new, simple, and readily available to them, but for them also always having fun with its dash (on the ground and air) while naturally taking up the challenge of improving their low armor survivability and strafing. Tbh itd also be a good segue into (for the most part) even squishier, more complex premium classes.

    Or, to help it be a bit more balanced, unique, and even more noob friendly....what if it was a bulky dasher, like hek 3 steak 10-20 hearts and diamond+gold armor, but low damage weapon like a wood/stone shovel sharp I
    Otherwise i feel like itd be really really OP defender always being able to catch up with iron sharp I and not being able to be killed in 3 hits, but making it any more squishy would really scare the noobies

    The one suggestion I have is instead of constant Sharp I, more damage if the target player is holding a flag (or you could even do more damage to anything when your flag is stolen).

    I'm trying to keep the class streamlined as possible for new players so I feel like simply buffing the sword to sharp III is the best option.

    It’s not in the game yet, and Gala has only made a version of this class in vanilla with command blocks. The class would still need to go through some devs so they could actually write it in
