Idea Ninja pearl deaths do not yet give any credits to the current opponent

I've fought some ninjas (and occasionally managed to "win", lol) and I noticed that the message that normally appears after a kill saying that 2 credits have been earned doesn't show up when the ninja dies by deliberately using an enderpearl to "self kill". Perhaps this is a glitch and the credits are indeed granted but just no message shows for the one who was fighting the ninja in that moment? Or perhaps there were reasons why this was not included in the ways that ninja kills award credits? But in case it's merely an oversight I thought I'd at least mention it here.

(and a friendly reminder -- I really think my "Kinetic" class suggestion from a few months ago would be a very fun class to play) ;-P

 

I'm not sure if credits were granted or not, but I do know that it wasn't displayed to me in the chat window, and it happened during some relatively long ninja battles (3 or more full seconds) that ended in the injured ninja taking one too many hits before trying to pearl a handful of blocks away to run and heal a bit around a corner only to take enough damage from the pearl to die instead...so it was easily a pearl death that happened during combat (rather than being after a long delay since being hit last) but it was also after a fair amount of time since the combat encounter began.

I'll have to watch my credit total more closely at some point when I predict that a ninja is gunning for me to see if it happens and whether or not it actually does wind up counting toward my credits in those cases.
