    Unzip the .zip and plonk in it the folder that you open when you hit the open folder button in game.

    Note: the carpets do look a little awkward, can't you retexture them to look nicer with the guns without destroying maps with carpets?

    Ideally I would remove carpet textures. That might not work well though. We will see.

    Okay so after using the texture pack for a bit, couple things:
    1. The reticle/crosshairs thing. When it's pointed towards the sky or something like stone, its virtually invisible which makes it very difficult to aim with. Can you perhaps make it a more visible colors against those backgrounds?

    2. The death noise -.- I'm pretty sure most people play minecraft with headphones, and the first time I heard someone die, my ear was blown out. There are much cooler sounds that you could use that dont involve making me go deaf >:L

    Other than that, looks pretty cool. I also kinda wish the iron items had the more traditional white color, as I confuse it with stone at first.

    Edit: Almost forgot, you should make the pack have low fire and clear water also.

    Low fire is pretty easy to do along with clear water- I'll have it a very light trans blue tint just so you know it's water and don't go wading into it and saying "WTF why so slow"
    I'll reduce the volume, and I was stuck for a death sound so I went for the gust of a soul escaping a body. If you want I can arrange for a bloodcurdling scream or something like that.
    The iron is dark grey as the old McPvP soldier logo had a soldier with darker grey armor on and I wanted to match that- all the armor is creates specifically with matching those images in mind.

    Anyways, I appreciate the feedback, it's walkways quite helpful as to which direction to go in.

    EDIT: I wish you recorded your reaction to the death sound. I feel like it would be a priceless gut busting beauty.

    very annoying on like every map with stone. cuz i cant see the thing to aim.

    Is there a possibility the bow can be customised to something a ton cooler? The bow looks a little plain, this is just my personal opinion.

    Not too long ago, I researched what 1.9 will bring and the cool features they have. I also researched about how Brawl can cope with it. My thread can be found here. But I found something really interesting I'll quote, that JSON people like you might enjoy :wink:. Or perhaps dislike because it's more strict.

    Model Changes:
    • Different models/textures can be used for each different damage value, item states, and whether the item is held in a different hand.
    • Models can be put together based on block state attributes, such as fences.
      • As a result, the vanilla set of block models has been reduced by almost 300.
    • Block model JSON is now strict, meaning that comments and quote-less identifiers are not allowed.
    • display tag defaults have changed, and the thirdperson and firstperson tags were replaced with thirdperson_righthand, thirdperson_lefthand,firstperson_righthand, and firstperson_lefthand.
    • parent and elements tags can coexist now, but the top level elements tag overwrites all former ones.

    JSON is easy to deal with. The multi textured items sounds cool though.

    It would be crazy if you had animated 3D textures, although I don't want to make you full-time on this lol. With different durabilities, you could show items to be a little bit more cracked, although I don't know if there's any item on CTF that's supposed to have low durability in the first place.

    Alright so, this is kind of a horrible Necro, just like the class, but since the old creator hasn't posted since December of 2017, I've taken the liberty to continue what little work there is to be done on this Texture pack, including this minor update.

    First off, due to the brand new Addition of The Scout Update on the horizon, I'm here to show some of the new additions, as well as some sad removals.

    turret tele.PNG The Turret and teleporter, both no longer being part of the Engineer's Arsenal, are no longer necessary, and have thus been stripped of their special textures. (I'll be honest, seeing a million exit teleporters where some iron tables should be was somewhat distracting.) I will be working on making an texture for the speed pad soon.

    engiupdate.png Engineer has gotten some updated item textures, being the Wooden Shovel Grenade Launcher, as well as a texture for cake, being a nice little heal pillar.

    swappitydoodah.png Scout now has a swapper item texture, as well as one for the death tag (An edgy name tag)

    flagnotincluded.png Silly powder now downright tells you you are visible. (Redstone cannot be changed due to it also being used by assassin)

    And thats the gist of the changes so far. Just Quality of Life Improvements, also there are quite a few many things you'd have to dig even further back to find, so I'll show them here to save you some digging.
