Spotlight Saturdays - #1

Hello CTFers,

Recently, we proposed the idea of "Spotlight Saturdays" in this thread. The idea consisted of new map submissions being set on the CTF servers every Saturday, so map creators can receive feedback and make changes accordingly. The CTF staff team thought it would be a good idea to do this, especially before the Map Wave XV deadline, so map creators are able to make changes to their maps before that deadline.

We have selected maps that are not extremely poor for gameplay to be included in Spotlight Saturdays and the week-long map wave testing after the Wave XV deadline. Players are able to comment and submit feedback of the map they are currently playing on using the /comment command in-game. This will allow map creators to make any necessary changes before the Wave XV deadline, which is the 5th of May. Map creators will be able to view any comments submitted on the corresponding map in the Build server using /comments. As well as using /comment, we are still encouraging players to submit any detailed feedback for a particular map in the appropriate map submission thread under the Map Submissions section.

Spotlight Saturdays will occur every Saturday at 3pm EST / 8pm BST / 9pm CEST / 12pm PST. The first Spotlight Saturdays session will happen this Saturday, 20th of April, and it will include the following maps:

• Industrial - created by @cityscaper [Not played due to config issues, moved to next Saturday]
• Starship Battle - created by @Kashyyyk [Not played due to config issues, moved to next Saturday]

• Neverlight - created by flyguy23ndm, @Snowleak14 and @Pizze
  
• Mushroom Skyline - created by @Swit2427 and @Cardona360

Once the maps above have been tested, a new set of map submissions will be tested next Saturday! We hope you enjoy this method of testing new maps, and we hope this provides a lot of feedback to the map creators.
