This is a map that has been in progress for nearly a year, there has been a lot of breaks (only in total about 2-3 weeks where pudgy and I have been building). The idea was to remake the map islands, however in the end we decided to completely revamp the whole idea of islands. We decided it would be cool to incorporate the idea of an underwater side to the map (bottom and top like opposites collide). This is done to make the map more unique and give the offense more options for routing. Currently progress has been halted as both I and pudgy are busy, therefore I thought it would be nice to show people what the map looks like so far. Personally, I like the idea a lot it is just very time consuming thinking about the aesthetics as well as the game play of the map.

Since this is a rather big project, it would be nice to have some more builders, preferably people who are experienced with building ctf maps but also need people for the aesthetic side such as decorating the under water and the central cave underneath the main island which is not pictured. If you are interested please msg me, also if you have any suggestions or questions feel free to ask.

Giving this a bump
done some work to the map, only some areas are completed but looking for feedback so far
map is now public as well but with a new id (429874)
looking for ideas regarding spawn (wanted in the ship but not sure how to execute this
decided to call the map "The Tropics" for now
