[Event] Hide and Seek 2019

Hide and Seek 2019!​

Hey everyone,
After receiving positive feedback for last year's CTF Hide and Seek event, we have decided to do another one this year! We have also decided to change some of the rules this time around, in order to make the event as enjoyable as possible. Shoutout to @paladinknight and @Foodcourt for helping me organise this event.

When: Saturday, 10th of August, 3pm EST / 8pm BST / 9pm CEST / 12pm PST

Size: Max 20 players

How the event will work:

• This time, there will be 3 seekers for each round.
• All of the players that sign up will be placed in a RNG, which will determine the 3 seekers for each round.
• This time, the event will take place in-game (not pre-game) on the CTF Match Server.
• Hiders will be on the red team and the Seekers will be on the blue team.
• Hiders are allowed to log onto the map after the ref/mod allows them and are given 2 minutes to hide.
• After those two minutes, the 3 seekers are allowed to log on and is given 10 minutes to search for as many players as they can.
• This time, the seekers are required to kill the hiders with their given two-shot weapon in order to 'find' them. Just looking at them is not enough, a kill is required for a hider to be found.
• The ref will announce when a hider has been found.
• All found hiders will respawn in a closed-off spawn and will shortly be teleported to a parkour waiting area away from the actual map, while they wait for the round to finish.
• If the seekers find all of the hiders, the seekers win / If there are remaining hiders after the seekers' time is up, the hiders win.

Rules:

• No glitching / bug-abusing (E.x. hiding on the side of the map by shift-breaking blocks).
• The hiders / seekers are not allowed to log onto the map until the mod/ref says so.
• The hiders are not allowed to log out at any point while the seekers are seeking. Logging out will result in instant disqualification.
• No hints or inferences of hiders' spots may be given to the seeker, even by those not participating in the game. If a hider gives away this sort of information, it is instant disqualification.
• The entire map is the playing field. If there are secret rooms that are accessible without glitching, then they are fair game.
• Multiple people can hide in the same location.
• You cannot be Seeker more than once.
• When hiding, you don't have to stay in one place. However, if a seeker kills you, you're out.

Prizes:
Yep, you've seen it, we will be giving out prizes this time! This is what we will be giving out:

• Winning 5 Rounds as a Hider: Either Scout and 2 cosmetics of the winner's choice OR just 5 cosmetics of the winner's choice.
• Winning 4 Rounds as a Hider and 1 as a Seeker: Either Scout and 2 cosmetics of the winner's choice OR just 5 cosmetics of the winner's choice.
• Winning 4 Rounds as a Hider: Either Scout OR just 3 cosmetics of the winner's choice.
• Winning just as a Seeker: 1 cosmetic of the winner's choice.

The latter cosmetic-only option for the above prizes are for players who already have Scout or do not want Scout. You can see which cosmetics are available by browsing the Brawl Store. All prizes will be given out at the end of the event.
