Stat Farmers

Also what is the point of stat farming?
It doesn't really accomplish anything besides attempt to publicly show how great you are.
They do this to try to get a kick out of it (seriously what do you have to gain from this besides fueling your own ego?). So really stat farming is to feel better than other people. IMO farmed stats should be wiped because it isn't really accomplishing anything that you can take real pride in anyway.

It clearly wasn't written in an entertaining way because he's calling for people to be punished and not in a joking manner. He's also trying to tarnish their reputations. And me pointing out his remarks aren't me claiming to have my feelings hurt (neither have I made any indication they are) its me calling him out for his unprofessionalism and attention seeking behavior. Seriously, if he didn't want attention he'd have just given it to the staff team and let them do their thing. Posting it here hasn't made them do more bans/punishments. All its done is open the floor to hateful comments.

We don't have any specifics for what happened with staff, so of course we don't know how they resolved it. For all we know, they did or there's not enough evidence. Maybe you should post something about that hm? They mentioned earlier on that they had videos of people farming for achievements and dealt with them accordingly. There are policies in place on this server that are made to deal with things like this. Despite being a fairly new issue, staff already has a policy/rule or criteria to meet before punishing. If you have an issue with their policies, argue about the policies rather than making a half baked post to start a flame war. Posting this has achieved literally nothing besides ruffle some feathers and cause drama. Raging, this is problematic behavior and its clear you're just here to have some petty revenge on people (and people that didn't) that got you punished. Just because you're still feeling raw about past events doesn't mean you have to spread your hatred.

Despite claiming this is just to "shed light" on the issue, you've made it crystal clear its not. You're obviously calling for people to be punished according to your own standards. And you're clearly fueled by hatred (and jealousy ?). Idk what I did to you but apparently its enough to make you this upset and try to publicly defame me under the guise of shedding light. Unprofessional. Bring it up to staff and let them do their thing they're staff for a reason and its pretty clear you're not for a reason too.

First off I'm terribly sorry for doing this but you just provided a perfect template for another one.

The farming clearly wasn't done in an entertaining way because achievements and killstreaks have been a result of it. Farmers are trying to make other players look worse. Anyone pointint stat farming out is doing so for the sake of calling them out for their unprofessionalism. Also stat farming is an attention seeking behaviour.
Seriously, if anyone didn't want this thread and all this attention then he/she could've just played normally and let skill do their thing.
Stat farming hasn't made anyone a better player, all it has done is open the floor to the ****ty situation we're in.



just to be clear, I don't entirely agree with the way Raging posted this thread but I fully understand where he's coming from.

 

Bro if you’re trying to justify yourself best thing you can do is literally just shut up. Literally no one cares about your 2 page essay on why you weren’t stat farming. I do not know what your goal is here, but just stop. This thread should have been done long ago, but you keep typing these useless ass comments that isn’t benefitting you in anyway possible. Get on with your life and just play the game.

Pointing out stat farming doesn’t tarnish someone’s reputation, stat farming itself tarnishes one’s reputation. Kind of like how being arrested for stealing doesn’t make you a thief, the act of stealing makes you a thief. (And for when you say it’s not the same thing, it’s called an analogy)

I agree with this statement, but pointing fingers at people that didn't stat farm is problematic. This post makes it look like people stat farmed. He also called IBeeLiterature a farming alt. He isn't a farming alt and he'd know that if he looked at the IP address and actually had accurate data. Of course, he can't but he made a leap of logic that unfortunately was wrong and ill informed. So he's accusing people of stat farming in the open, which is problematic in and of itself (accusing for clout), but people live for drama so there's that. But what I'm mostly saying is that he's also accusing people that didn't farm of farming and finding data that's open to interpretation. I'll also point out once again, that this is insufficient evidence because there are stories behind the deaths and kill counts that disprove this farming accusation (and people realize how misleading this data can be). Because raging lacks video and actual evidence, this data, while interesting and great food for haters, is inconclusive and misleading because of its vague and open ended nature (as seen with his finger pointing and accusations of farming despite them not occurring in some cases). I speak for myself in these situations and not for others because I (just like raging_) obviously don't know the stories behind the data.

Also, a side note that I think forgot to point out earlier was that the glitched kills (like fall damage kills and void kills) don't count towards the achievement or give credits.

 

Okay, I am not tryna hate or whatever, it is nothing personal. But I literally saw you spamming spells at IBeeLiterature in a corner on the map Harvest for multiple minutes, until they got autobanned. That is really all I needed to see to conclude you were one of the farmers. Whoever people believe, I don't care, but it just has gotten hard to remain quiet and watch these replies keep coming when I saw it myself and consider it undeniable that you were farming aswell as many others.

 

Been playing for 4 years, has 48 days of playtime, chooses to create a hyper-rant about a problem we've had before he even got here.
