    Part of what makes CTF fun to play is the amount of diverse classes that interact in interesting ways with each other, their environment, and the overall mechanics that the gamemode has to offer. What's your favorite matchup in a Class vs. Class scenario? Maybe you would like to include a certain map or situation, or even multiple classes fighting against one another; the sky is the limit with this question.

    I personally like Ninja vs. Elf quite a bit. With many recent changes to Elf, both classes feel like they provide significant ways to beat each other and use their tools to gain the upper hand, but also rely on their opponent's strategy to win the matchup.
    Elf --> Wind reveals invisible Ninjas, Shield blocks both eggs and enderpearl, Water Resistance / Regen combo
    Ninja --> Eggs stall movement and force the use of wind to move quickly, invisibility / element of surprise, pearl can counter Elf's mobility... if used correctly, high damage output

    Mage vs Engi is a huge lolfest because neither class is capable of killing each other before their healing ability charges up, so unless your in a confined area, theres a ****up, or a 3rd party jumps in, its just this constant stalemate where the mage can be dodged enough for regen aura to charge, and the engi doesn’t have the DPS to deal with the mage.

    Mage Vs Mage is one of the most entertaining fights in the game, and depending on their skill levels, evenly matched mages can continue a fight for upwards of like 2 minutes before some random heavy comes along and comboes the other into oblivion.

    Thats all I can think of for now

    Elf vs every class: elf used to have a counter to every single class in ctf (rip earth element) and except soldier still has an answer to every class. Tbh I thought it was crazy that earth element was removed.

    Mage v Mage are always fun... especially when the mages know what they're doing lol. It's either you get lucky and stack your attacks and deal an instant 7 hearts.. or you keep fighting and your healing CD ends so you never die.

    Archer vs Soldier is a fun one. Great target practice too.
    Ninja vs Ninja is also fun, because it is so tense.
    Medic vs Chemist is interesting; we know who is going to win, but they both last a pretty long time.

    Especially if the other person is also an archer

    Archer vs Elf

    The Elf make an idiot out of the Archer by deflecting their headshots. If theres a close range 1v1 then the Elf has the pvp advantage because of sharp 2 and being able to wind during fighting, allowing them to get behind the archer very easily. This catches many people off guard in my experience.
