I edited this so now the replies make no sense

as a chem main, there are some aspects of how chem can be broken. personally, after the rework to necro, chem is good for buffing mostly heavies and necros now, and many others. In casual, people lack the sense that a chem can heal well, and when they try it themselves they do horribly (potspam, miss swings). i think chem needs a small nerf to how many damage pots it can carry as the knockback from it is personally my main problem, but overall it is pretty balanced now.

It's fine, actually punishes you for missing damage and health potions now, since before they barely consumed any mana.

 

It's so easy to kill chemists they somehow manage to escape fully defended flagrooms of 6 people... with the flag...

Honestly 100% true. Chemist is designed to be overpowered to a player that doesn't know how to hard aggro, thus leaving 95% of the daily player count vulnerable. People complain about Chemist over other classes because it has a ridiculous extended lifespan, if given the above conditions. The regeneration pots are a massive majority of a Chemist's health pool when farming players who struggle to land hits, so if you want to balance Chemist any further, my best hypothesis would be to remove or modify the regeneration pots to limit its ability to chain kill streaks without needing to use hard healing.

Also, if this change is made, for the love of God remove the Archer buff on Chemist. Receiving 6 hearts a shot without regeneration to tank them would make Chemist one of the easiest classes to farm for Archers, at least in close range settings.

Class can survive huge waves of people easily and breaks casual flagroom defenses of 10+ people because of it. I don't see too much of a problem considering the offense / defense split in casual matches. You burst it down to kill it, something that works especially on the class that can share its own healing with you.
