CTF Map Wave XVI Release!

Hiya!

Today we're releasing the next map wave! It adds 6 completely new maps, introduces 8 refreshed versions of older maps, and updates 5 maps currently in rotation.

Thanks to you busy map makers out there, we had a record-breaking 66 map submissions! Like the previous wave, many of these maps were piloted in Spotlight Saturday showcases. In addition, there was another jaw-dropping testing period of 1 month, during which we collected in-game votes. During the week after, we collected opinions through a Google Form, which debuted a new format of optional questions with no neutral option, and a ranking question for the 4 Skyworlds variations, of which we kept the most favorably rated.

We got almost as many form responses as map submissions, and many more than last wave! The in-game and form approval rates were weighted equally, and the threshold set at 60% (allowing half a percent lower for really close maps) based on how many maps we wanted to accept. The old maps were evaluated based on all-time stats, and subsequently the least-liked 11 were removed; however, one of those was updated.
