    looking for feedback and ideas It's the first map I ever made.

    my main concerns:
    - the roofs of the red buildings have spawn blocks (netherrack)
    - the flag rooms are very offense favored; things like Elf & Soldier (and maybe even Chemist) would have no problem getting out with the flag
    - under the impression that the red buildings get changed, those same mobility classes can almost get from flag to flag without touching the ground, so roaming defense like Soldier & Ninja would have to be heavily relied on

    looks pretty cool though

    Not true the spawn blocks on this map are redstone so the roof being netherrack doesnt matter.

    Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. As I'm not very experienced with CTF what would fixes be that you would implement? perhapsmake less entrances to the flag room? and especially the ninja/soldier problem what would be a fix for that?

    Unfortunately, the theme you were going for here is very hard to sculpt into a good CTF map - it's been attempted several times before. The aesthetic nature requires things to be in specific places to look nice, which innately causes balance issues; In this case, the high flexibility of mobility classes + the length of the map make it incredibly offense biased. Other examples of the concept not fitting with the game meta would be Clocktower IV (17833), The Coasts (444010), and the Air Balloons collection (starting with 93), which fit their theme correctly but have many issues in gameplay as a result. So, to answer your question, there isn't much you can do without abandoning key aspects of the theme; I think it could be mostly fixed, but I don't have the experience to really gauge the effort required to properly transform this map.
