    Paladin

    Name: Paladin

    Armor:
    Gold Chestplate
    Chain Leggings
    Iron Boots

    Weapon: Gold Sword (renamed Broadsword)

    Tools: 5 steak, 3 glass bottles (renamed blood vials)

    Abilities:
    Favor of the gods: For every certain interval of kills that the paladin achieves it gains absorption (temporary hp). This temporary hp once lost cannot be replenished by natural means, and the only way to gain more temporary hp is to reach the next required kill amount (streak).
    Amount of Kills Temp HP
    2 Absorption 1
    4 Absorption 1
    8 Absorption 1
    16 Absorption 1

    Unclaimable: Because the paladin is an elite defender the enemy team cannot cap any flag the paladin is near unless the paladin leaves the cap zone or is killed.

    Duty over Death: if the paladin is within a flag zone currently also occupied by the enemy team and its sword breaks, it gets resistance 2 until the Paladin restocks

    I'm a bit confused on it's abilities. What do the glass bottles in its inventory do? How long would it take for the Paladin to "restock" its sword? I think having 16 hearts of absorption, including 5 steak and resistance 2 would make the class a bit overpowered. Creative ideas though, keep it up!

    As I post more on the forums, I want to give my two cents to you on this pretty good idea.
    This really feels similar to the way Necro once was with increased strength/abilities being dependent on kill count. I think it is a great idea to re-introduce a class along these lines, although this specific class seems a bit overpowered for any player. I will explain:
    • Preventing the opposing team from capping based on one class seems like a bit too much.
    • The absorption idea honestly seems like a good one, although would suggest 4 hearts of temporary absorption max. I think that is what you were getting at, but may be unclear.
    Overall, this is a great idea that could be tweaked and looked at. After all, the old method of Necro increasing strength/mob type based on kills was quite fun for many and I wouldn't mind seeing a similar methodology for a class being executed in the future :smile:

    Ok, first off. The gold armour is a little too over powered and medium powered in my opinion. Along with the 5 steak it would make this class too tanky and would not be a positive change for the meta of CTF. Perhaps the blood vials is wrong for the nature of this class, it would attract the wrong people if you know what I mean. Paladins are supposed to be holy, and divine, and follow the Omniscience. Why would a Paladin be linked to Vampires, it just doesn't make any sense. Here are a couple of suggestions to make the class a little (alot) better:

    - Rename the class to Dracula, since it has ties to blood bags and can be really OP

    Amount of kills for Jump and Regen boost

    2 Jump boost 1 and Regen 1
    10 Jump Boost 4 and Regen 5
    16 Jump Boost 3 and Regen 5
    32 Can fly and Regen 6

    Vampiric Aura: Since you are a vampire the only way to kill you is with a wooden sword, drawing similarities to a steak. You also are really speedy at night and have night vision and also blind anyone is a 7 block radius

    The duty over death is actually cool lets keep it

    Paladin is already a concept that is sometimes unlocked by devs. Another thing is that is basically current necro when it comes to killing things. Also why make something that prevents caps? That sounds broken.
