    Combat logging, as most would agree, is a pretty scummy way of playing the game.

    Players who logout mid-fight should take the death to the player they were fighting and have it affect their stats and so on... This has been implemented in other PVP gamemodes like factions for years and even in bedwars if you log out you'll take the final death, so I fail to see why this hasn't been implemented into CTF.

    In short, combat logging is annoying and the players who do it shouldn't be able to log out and log back in with no repercussion whatsoever.

    most likely not gonna be implemented because KDR is pointless in this game. just a casual player mentality to have a good KDR rather than get better.

    If it were to be implemented, people that wanted to keep a higher kdr would leave/quit, it wouldn't help player retention, because they're going to be frustrated that they died in said video game, it goes both ways. Let people play the game how they want to, I know it can be frustrating but it's just part of the game.

    I think it'd have the opposite effect. It'd make having a higher KDR more meaningful because you can't cheese it by just combat logging, and those who are going for a high KDR won't lose out on kills from people who are combat logging.

    My deal on combat logging is this. If your gonna start a fight finish it. I find it extremely annoying when people go for headshots on me constantly. I get around them and manage to catch them off guard. Then everytime I even so much as tap en they instantly log on me. Why even bother trying to pvp if that is all your gonna do

    Unless there was a massive spike in combat loggers while I was gone, this has never been an outstanding issue in the several years I've nolifed casual. There are always the ones that rage quit mid fight and don't come back, but I've hardly ever seen someone truly combat log. Is it annoying nonetheless? Yes, but it's honestly very insignificant, and most of us would rather see attention elsewhere for QoL upgrades.

    That would a good way to counter it but I like to relish my fights and quick dropping doesn't give me much satisfaction cx
