    The consensus from staff on the Lunar Chat Macros is that, since it doesn't open chat to type the command in, it's not allowed, and using it is a bannable offense. I can see why that could be the case for raid as /track and buying soup mid-fight would be much easier that it gives a distinct advantage. However, for game modes like CTF, build, and party, they're just useful tools.

    In the case of CTF, most would use to respawn quicker as a class and type quick information to fellow teammates in chat. In conjunction with the built-in quick commands could help bring a competitive aspect to casual. In competitive those who are muted would be able to relay information (No one reads chat lol, excommunicate mutes) to their teammates who use vc to communicate.

    I believe that the ban on lunar chat macros should be lifted mostly because I'm an idiot who cant type and I mistype chemist like 6 times every respawn and I miss it because I press up to many times or I accidentally add a character that makes the command invalid.

    I definitely see an argument to be made for a more competitive edge, but personally I find that the ability to type without opening chat creates too large of a gap between those that mod minecraft and those that don't. I have concerns that allowing the mod would alienate the group of people that don't want to add that mod, which isn't something I think Brawl is or should be going for right now.
