    Experimental Dwarf Rework

The aim of this experimental rework is to make Dwarf a good alternative to existing bulk defense classes, with its niche being to effectively kill groups of players.

Armour: Chain Helmet, Diamond Chestplate, Diamond Leggings, Chain Boots
    Steak: 3

    Abilities

    Dwarf Weapon
If you land on players with Dwarf Smash, your weapon gains levels. The minimum level is 1 and the maximum level is 4. At each level, the weapon increases in power. After gaining a level, it decays after 10 seconds.

The amount of levels you gain depends upon the number of players you land on with Dwarf Smash. If you land on one player, you gain one level. If you land on two players, you gain two levels. Etc.

    1. Wood Sword, Sharpness 2 5.5 attack damage
    2. Stone Sword, Sharpness 2 6.5 attack damage
    3. Iron Sword, Sharpness 2 7.5 attack damage
    4. Diamond Axe, Sharpness 3 8.75 attack damage vulnerable to assassin

    Dwarf Smash

    Left click: Launch forwards
    Right click: Launch upwards
    8 second cooldown

When you land on the ground with force (enough to take fall damage) after using dwarf smash, you will deal that fall damage to enemies in a 6 block radius (min 10 damage, max 30 damage, linear damage falloff to 50%). Therefore, you can deal large amounts of damage to players if you drop from tall buildings. These enemies will be knocked upwards, allowing them to be knocked away, making Dwarf Smash good at splitting up groups.

When you have the flag, the launch velocity of dwarf smash is reduced by 50%

The Dwarf Weapon will then level up depending on the amount of players that were smashed.

    Testing
New Dwarf testing will start on the 5th of September and run until the 12th of September.

New Dwarf will be enabled on casual servers as well as the match servers for this period. On the match server, it will be limited to 1 by default.

Heh... It's a shame I missed the chance to test the "new Dwarf Rework/old Kinetic idea" merger testing. :stuck_out_tongue:

The early 2019 Kinetic idea's "Ground Impact Healing" being the late 2021 reworked "Dwarf Smash" enemy damaging attack instead (but benefiting from a similar "deliberate high drop" being an idea I wished to play with in CTF), along with the early 2019 Kinetic idea's "Kinetic Blast" knock-up-and-out enemy pushing -- both rolled into one!

I hope a lot of players had fun with the ideas. I was a bit disappointed when it seemed like the old Kinetic idea was a bit much to mix in with the weird abilities it would've had to introduce, but this Dwarf rework sounds like it at least has some level of a similar play style potentially, so if it proves to be a long term rework then I just may need to give it a shot!
