    After seven months of helping out with Brawl, I've reached the point where I feel like I have nothing left to offer as a staff member. This opportunity was actually caught on a whim; I made a joke with some friends that if Brawl was still open by Christmas last year that I would apply for staff one last time... I guess it's a good thing I went through with it. Unfortunately, the conditions that allowed me to do what I've been doing in this position are disappearing, and I need to move on to more important things. I hope that the day I inevitably check on CTF again in however many months, the plans I made for it will at least be in the works. But before the final goodbye, no resignation is complete without the shoutouts:

    You are most of the reason I had the level of patience I did for Brawl. You had a very similar mindset to mine & were always super chill to talk with. Who knows, maybe one day we'll both end up back in this place if we're bored enough. I hope you're doing alright man.

    You've taken on so much responsibility in this network that I rarely ever see you get credit for. When the times called for it, you took initiative as CTF manager & made things stable for much longer than some of us were expecting, ultimately leading to me following in those footsteps the best I could; Now you're managing the whole team more consistently than I've seen anyone else do it. You better not make one of these threads any time soon...

    You have some crazy work ethic for this server man. Since you rejoined the team, you have been an absolute machine for everything from match server stuff to mountains of CIC discussion. Keep that up and I have no doubt you'll get to where you want to be.

    You and I were always a bit distant, but as "colleagues" you have shown some of the most valuable input out of all of us. Anyone can come up with some crazy new idea, but your skill in analyzing & rationalizing those ideas is one of the most crucial components of a good team.     Most people know you as a Party main, but as a staff member you've actually done quite a bit to help out on CTF as well. You're probably the most mutual person I've met in this community - keeping that up in the middle of certain groups is a feat on its own.



    Being totally honest, I'm skeptical of the decisions Brawl is making at the moment, but I'm hopeful that the right ones will be made in due time. This server is legendary for a reason & that potential will always be there so long as people are willing to take advantage of it.
