In general.
Although I'm not really experienced enough in any other areas to actually know. I'm probably gonna start recording mods ignoring and not doing good things and submit them to admins :>

Jmods are the ones that do the chat moderation, a MODs job mainly consists of being in /poof and catching hackers.

The fact that you're catching hackers is no excuse for letting people off the hook, unless you're totally invisible to people on the server and your presence would inhibit your job. I PMd Roke on the subject, and gotten what I need. (with holes in the realms of what mods do and how they do it and why they do it and when they do it and who they do it to and etc.)

Personally I find that the majority of recent mods & staff are too hugboxish, or too robotic. It's either copy & paste on everything or it's "GREAT! HAVE A COOKIE!" to even the lowest of idiots.

That and also lack of attention ingame. I've seen quite a few mods on in the sparse time I'm online and they never actually attend to flamers, spammers, etc. until it's personal. @TheEliteBanshee sorry, but I'm talking to you. Like honestly I remember clearly that you were using cbow & superarmor on Nuketown and after I broke your ks like 5 times you told me to stop targeting you.

I was confused because I had barely noticed I had killed you at all, and especially so since I barely knew you were online amongst the flamers and spammers.

I try my best not to be robotic, my replies to staff apps are different from the usual and I don't do the super friendly act like some others. I like to keep it true to me

And that's why I respect you as both a player and moderator. You seem human, unlike most other mods.

I have two personalities I guess. I have my "on duty" personality where I am usually very serious and mature, mainly when I am dealing with rule breakers. My more relaxed "myself" persona is for when I am with friends or just relaxing. If you talk to me on TS when I'm off duty I'm extremely playful and silly

As it should be.
I feel like whenever I was a mod I just played normally but responded to people pretty much as fast as possible. Like if I was camping echest or something I would respond, just as fast as I could. If I was actively fighting, I'd try to camp somewhere to respond.
