Nah I just happen to check the birthday list to see if any of my friends have birthdays or if anyone who's still active on the forums. I mean I don't think anyone would dislike getting happy birthday messages even if they are from random people. It can make someone's day :)

It just means happy birthday messages aren't to be taken seriously because you give them away like I give away insults

I can give away as many of them as I'd like to, it's like giving away compliments to people. You don't have to make it a serious thing where you only give certain people the attention. Simply telling someone happy birthday to them on their birthday can make them smile, you never know. I'm sorry if you found it weird that I wished you happy birthday >.<
