It did, sort of. Basically said his first name describes his sadistic personality. If you look up Gehenna in the dictionary, one of the definitions will say, "A place or state of suffering".
You probably might think I'm weird for being 24 and having an evil sadistic wizard as an imaginary character. But we all love villains don't we? The more evil the better.

I don't think you are weird, it is always interesting to hear what others thought about when picking their name.
