I am not a Communist in the way people think of what it entails. To understand my position as a Communist, one must understand what Communism is. Communism is a stateless, classless, moneyless society that has achieved post-scarcity. And no, I am not a Stalinist. I only use Stalin for way of irony.
Also, how must one achieve Communism has been explained by Marxist theory. Through Socialism. Socialism being the abolishment of private property (private property being property used to make a property) and shifting it to social ownership of the means of production by the workers.
Through this Socialism, the Socialism of a planned economy, worker control of the means of production, and true democracy (dictatorship of the proletariat, or in more understandable terms, control of the workers) the material conditions necessary for the establishment of Communism are established (just as the material conditions necessary for the establishment of Socialism would be built by Capitalism and so on).
There is too much in Marxist theory to cover in such a limited platform. If you want to learn more about Marxism, feel free to contact me on my Skype: Webmant.
