I found it very excessive, but maybe I should've given a warning.
It still was a flame thread made specifically to call someone out, which is against the rules. Making that thread was the first mistake.

They can continue this in a PM, not in a public thread.

The main point of the thread IMO was to help the person who was stuck (fixed) and debate whether or not trolling is legal (which, it is.)

If you wanted to lock it for anything, I would have locked it due to the fact that the player was already out of the jail cell

That would be personal preference. There was just a lot of things wrong with that thread.

And maybe I didn't lock it for the right reason, but it had to be locked anyways.

I do understand, but I was just trying to point out that there wasn't a warning, and if you locked it for flame, you would seem trigger-happy to some of the community.
