(going to post several comments, mostly because these short boxes don't allow lengthy messages)

In your resignation and various forum posts after, the impression I got made it seem like you resigned because a) you didn't get SMOD b) you were addicted to brawl and had some recurring personal issues, and c) upper brawl staff didn't seem to listen to you.

What do you expect to happen differently this time around? Perhaps those personal issues have been partly resolved, but I don't think a) and c) are going to change if you become staff again. Speaking from experience, being an SMOD isn't all it's cracked up to be. Are you going to quit again if you don't get a higher rank? If your maps aren't accepted to party? If those personal demons come back to play?

In general, I disagree with former staff applying again, just as I dislike players who post a big outro claiming they're never coming back, only to return a few days later (which I'm not saying you're one of those players. just a general rule).

Since you're more observant that others, you hit the head on the nail. I'd been working for party for a very long time and peas coming along caused me to be hurt and spiral into depression. However, this wasn't the first time. I almost resigned months before because none of my ideas were being responded to and party was being ignored.

That made the higher staff begin listening to party, but it was short lived and I was done pretending that I was ok with it. I resigned because I was depressed, hurt, and hoping that my resignation brought about change for other staff members who were feeling the same way.

When that change didn't come, I became suicidal (also because of irl problems) and it was a very long process to getting back on my feet. Now I realize that I tried to create change the wrong way and I'm coming back to hopefully fix the system in a better manner.
