I guess putty changed it so players (maybe just ELITEs) can reply to own locked threads.

Na, I just asked Roke about that. Everyone can lock his/her own thread in the clan section, therefore you're also able to respond to your locked thread.

-I'm late to this, but...- @Lord_Roke can the ctf team section have the same thing?
