Simple enough, I don't believe in evolution, because it contradicts with creationism. There are plenty of arguments against evolution. I could spend the time reading these arguments and posting them here, but I'm not.You can go here to see the arguments, but I highly doubt you will or even read one word. https://answersingenesis.org/evolution/
On Greek and Hindu gods, I don't believe in polytheism. Have you seen how the Greek gods get along? They don't really. So much conflict.
I don't know anything about Hinduism's 80,000 different sects.
There is this Hindu god that seems strikingly similar to Jesus, but there’s conflicting evidence on how he died, whether by execution or accident. Also, there’s no historical evidence of his existence, unlike Jesus who is acknowledged by virtually all historians to have existed.
Wow that's belligerent "I highly doubt you will or even read one word". I'm the one trying to have a debate about science, you keep dodging questions. However I am discouraged by the fact that the website you linked me seems to be some kind of religious website, so I doubt it's completely unbiased.
Also i find it REALLY REALLY disturbing how you don't believe in evolution because you believe in creationism. It should be the other way, if you did it logically. First read about evolution, then if you don't believe it, read about other theories like creationism. It sounds as if you started from a creationist viewpoint and never gave evolution a chance.
And I'll say it again, when you go the doctor, do you ask for antibiotics from the 1950s? Cause those are the ones made for bacteria that haven't evolved to be resistant to antibiotics. I'm sure they'll work just fine!!!
And what exactly is it in the science of evolution that you find hard to believe? Perhaps I can help explain it.
Also, you didn't tell me why you don't believe in the Hindu gods, merely that you "don't believe in polytheism" which isn't really a reason. You brought up how they don't get along....
Two questions:
1. Do you decide what religion you are by how well the Gods get along?
2. Do you not recognise all the sht that happened in the Bible, particularly Old Testament?
And yes I'll admit to you that Jesus was a real person, that's nearly impossible to deny. But these ideas that he performed miracles or rose from the dead... They're just absurd.
By the way that source you gave me on evolution is really rubbish. It has a clear religious viewpoint and it's asking questions like "if evolution is real, how come scientists can't turn a fish into a frog"
By the way, imagine if everyone simply felt it was OK to just not believe stuff they get taught in science class because it contradicts what their imaginary friend tells them.
I don't believe in the laws of physics and therefore I'm gonna fail all my Physics exams but it's ok because my imaginary friend is here with me through the hard times!
Also I love how this pseudo-scientific website is talking about e=mc^2 and the various laws of nature. Didn't Jesus break these laws like a gajillion times with all his miracles?
1. That is a contributing factor, and I can't think of another god so selfless as mine. Plus, you can say how I was raised contributes to my faith.
2. Yeah, but thanks to Jesus, we are no longer bound by Old Testament law.
